Taanab was a largely agricultural planet with many forests. In the Battle of Taanab, Lando Calrissian warded off space pirates. The battle took place less than half a year after the Battle of Yavin IV.

2. Wes' first kill was a fellow pilot.

Answer: True

Wes was once part of a Y-Wing squadron who were set to ambush an Imperial convoy. When one pilot was overcome with fear and began to fly away, Wes realized that the whole team was going to be put in danger and killed the pilot.

3. Wes was Wedge Antilles' gunner during the Battle of Hoth.

Answer: True

"The Empire Strikes Back" was the only movie in which Wes appeared. He was played by Ian Liston. Curiously enough, Liston also played a pilot on the Imperial side, resulting in a scene where he was trying to shoot himself down!

4. When Wes went to Adumar, who did not go along with him?

Answer: Pash Cracken

Wedge was charged with taking three elite pilots to Adumar for a diplomatic mission, and he chose Tycho, Wes and Derek. Sadly, a conflict erupted on Adumar, and the four helped to create a new democratic government.

Along with Derek Klivian, Wes made Talon Squadron, Corsair Squadron and Gauntlet Squadron, among others. Talon Squadron was all killed save for Myn Donos, and Gauntlet and Corsair Squadrons were used to take the place of Rogue Squadron during the Bacta War.

Wedge commanded the squadron of misfits and scoundrels, and Wes was his executive officer. It was during this time that Wes created Lieutenant Kettch, who was supposedly the first pilot to be interviewed for the new Wraith Squadron.

Kettch was a fake starfighter pilot from Endor. According to Wes, he wore leg and arm extensions in order to be able to pilot an X-Wing and his battle cry was "Yub yub!"

Tainer was the son of the man who panicked and whom Wes was forced to kill. This resulted in plenty of enmity between the two, but things evened out with time.

The Taanab Yellow Aces were a volunteer starfighter group formed to combat the Yuuzhan Vong threat. They helped evacuate prisoners and eased the strain on other squadrons.

Answer: Jaina Solo

Jaina Solo was the daughter of Han and Leia Organa Solo, and commanded Rogue Squadron after Gavin Darklighter. She was also Force-sensitive, and had many adventures alongside her twin, Jacen Solo. They both became Jedi knights.
