5. How many entries in the countdown were by Australian artists?

Answer: France

There were two entries by French artists in the top ten. "I'll Kill Her" by SoKo was number nine and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (Alive 2007)" by Daft Punk was number seven.

Answer: Hilltop Hoods

In 2006, Hilltop Hoods reached number 77 with "Recapturing the Vibe". In 2007, the restrung version of the song reached number 26, 51 places higher than before.
