Many people in the Bible have asked God (both Father and Son) questions. This is a quiz about ten of them. I will post the question on one side and who asked it on the other side. The King James Version of the Holy Bible was used for making this quiz.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Am I my brother's keeper? (Genesis 4:8-9)

Answer: Cain

Cain and his younger brother Abel gave offerings to God. God liked Abel's more, and Cain became extremely jealous and killed his brother. It says in Genesis 4:8-9 that God asked Cain where Abel was, and Cain replied, "Am I my brother's keeper?"

Consequently, Cain was forced to spend his life wandering from place to place with no real home. However, God put a mark on Cain to keep others from killing him for killing his brother.
2. How can a man be born when he is old? (John 3:4)

Answer: Nicodemus

Nicodemus was a Pharisee. In John 3:4, Nicodemus asked Jesus, "How can a man be born when he is old?"

Jesus goes on to explain to Nicodemus what He means. This explanation includes perhaps the most well-known verse in the Bible, John 3:16.
3. Wilt Thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? (Genesis 18:24)

Answer: Abraham

It says at the beginning of Genesis 18 that the Lord appeared to Abraham. Later, in verse 20, the Lord talks about destroying Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 14:12, the Bible tells us that Lot, Abrahams's nephew, now lived in Sodom. So, Abraham asks the Lord in Genesis 18:24, "Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?"

Abraham then asks if fifty righteous people can be found, and he continues going down until he asks if ten righteous people can be found. Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed in Genesis 19, but Lot's family is allowed to leave before it happens.
4. Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? (Matthew 12:10)

Answer: Pharisees

In Matthew 12, Jesus sees a man with a withered hand. Before He heals it, the Pharisees, also there, ask him in 12:10, "Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days?" Jesus reminds them they would help one of their sheep if they fell into a ditch. He then heals the man's hand.

The Pharisees leave and hold a meeting. They decide they need to eliminate Jesus.
5. Wherefore has Thou afflicted thy servant? (Numbers 11)

Answer: Moses

In Numbers 11, Moses is in the desert leading the Hebrews, and they continuously complain about everything. In the eleventh verse, Moses asks God, "wherefore has Thou afflicted thy servant?" He tells God he can't handle it all on his own, so God tells him to get 70 elders of Israel to help him.
6. Art Thou King of the Jews? (John 18)

Answer: Pontius Pilate

Jesus is at one of his trials; this one is before Pontius Pilate. He asks Jesus in verse 33, "Art thou King of the Jews?" Jesus asks him if he is saying it or has heard it from others. Pilate responds by asking, "Am I Jew?" and tells Jesus His own people accused Him.
7. Shall I go into any of the cities of Judah? (2 Samuel 2:2)

Answer: David

King Saul and most of his family were recently killed at the end of I Samuel 31, and in 2 Samuel 1, David learns about it. David mourns the loss of his king and Jonathan, Saul's son and David's best friend. Then in chapter two, he asks the Lord if he should go to Judah. God tells him to go up to Hebron.
8. Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (Luke 18:18)

Answer: A certain ruler

In Luke 18:18, a certain ruler asks Jesus, "Good Master, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus tells the man that he needs to keep the Law, to which this ruler replies he has kept it perfectly since childhood. Jesus tells him next to give all his possessions and give to the poor. The man is now sad and walks away because he's not willing to give up his stuff.

After he is gone, Jesus tells His disciples in verse 25, "For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
9. For who is able to judge this so great a people? (1 Kings 3)

Answer: Solomon

God has told Solomon to ask for anything, and he would get it in 1 Kings 3. Solomon asks God in verse nine, "For who is able to judge this so great a people?" God answers and makes him the wisest man alive. Because Solomon asked for wisdom and not great riches, God also granted him that.
10. Who art thou, Lord? (Acts 9)

Answer: Saul (aka Paul)

In Act 9, Saul is heading to Damascus with plans to destroy anyone who follows Jesus. A light blinds him, and in verse five he asks, "Who art thou, Lord?" Jesus tells him that He is "Jesus who thou persecutest."

Saul's name is changed to Paul later in the book of Acts. He became a Christian, and just as much as he previously wanted to destroy the Jews, he wanted to lead people to Jesus. Later in 1 Timothy 1:15, he refers to himself as chief of the sinners.
