Francium (Fr) is extremely unstable and rare, with little known use due to its fleeting existence.

2. Precious & Industrial Metals:

Rhodium (Rh) is a valuable metal used in catalytic converters, jewellery, and electrical applications.

Osmium (Os) is one of the densest metals, used in electrical contacts and medical implants.

3. Rare-Earth Elements (Lanthanides):

Praseodymium (Pr) is used in magnets, alloys, and specialised glass.

Thulium (Tm) is applied in lasers and X-ray machines.

Holmium (Ho) has strong magnetic properties, useful in magnets and lasers.

Ytterbium (Yb) is used in nuclear medicine and improving steel alloys.

Lutetium (Lu) is the heaviest lanthanide, used in PET scan detectors and catalysts.

4. Synthetic & Named After Scientists:

Copernicium (Cn) is a superheavy synthetic element named after Copernicus, studied for nuclear properties.

Dubnium (Db) is a synthetic radioactive metal named after Dubna, Russia, with no practical applications at the time of writing.

Einsteinium (Es) is named after Albert Einstein, and is primarily studied for nuclear research.

5. Historically Significant & Useful in Alloys:

Antimony (Sb) is known for its fire-resistant properties and use in alloys, batteries, and semiconductors.

Bismuth (Bi) is a non-toxic heavy metal used in medicine, cosmetics, and alloys.

6. Actinide & Nuclear Research Element:

Protactinium (Pa) is a highly radioactive element found in uranium ores and used in nuclear studies.
