1. Panthers

Answer: Nottingham

Nottingham Panthers were founded in 1946 and play home games at the Motorpoint Arena. They played in a number of leagues before the formation of the EIHL in 2003. The club are one of the traditional powerhouses of the league, winning the end-of-season play-offs six times between 2007 and 2025.
2. Clan

Answer: Glasgow

Glasgow Clan were formed under their original name of Braehead Clan in 2010 and joined the EIHL that same year. They play home games at the Braehead Arena in Renfrew. The team struggled near the bottom of the standings.
3. Giants

Answer: Belfast

Belfast Giants were formed in 2000 and play home games at the SSE Arena, better known as The Odyssey. The owners chose teal as he team's main jersey colour as it did not have an association with either side of the political/religious divide in Belfast.

The Giants were members of the Superleague before it was superseded by the EIHL. The team has had considerable success on the ice, winning the regular season league title on multiple occasions.
4. Storm

Answer: Manchester

Manchester Storm were founded in 2015 and play home games at Planet Ice in Altrincham. A previous team of the same name existed between 1995 and 2002 and were superseded by the Manchester Phoenix who played between 2003 and 2015. Manchester Storm joined the EIHL in 2015 and have generally struggled near the bottom of the standings.
5. Flyers

Answer: Fife

Fife Flyers were founded in 1938 and are the oldest-surviving ice hockey club in the United Kingdom. The Flyers play home games at Fife Ice Arena in Kirkcaldy. The team have been members of a number of leagues throughout their history, including the Northern League, British National League and Scottish Premier Hockey league.

They joined the EIHL in 2011 and were generally near the bottom of the standings.
6. Flames

Answer: Guildford

Guildford Flames were formed in 1992 and play home games at the Guildford Spectrum. The club played in the British National League and English Premier Ice Hockey League before joining the EIHL in 2017. The Flames have played consistently well in the EIHL without actually getting their hands on any silverware prior to the 2025-26 season.
7. Steelers

Answer: Sheffield

Sheffield Steelers were founded in 1991 and play home games at the Utilita Arena. The team were members of the British Premier Division and the Superleague before becoming founding members of the EIHL in 2003. The Steelers have been consistent winners in the EIHL with six regular season titles between 2004 and 2024 and six play-off crowns during the same period.
8. Devils

Answer: Cardiff

Cardiff Devils were formed in 1986 and play home games at the Vindico Arena. The Devils were members of the British Premier League and the Superleague and were founder members of the EIHL in 2003. The club has achieved a number of successes at EIHL level, winning two regular season titles, in 2017 and 2018, and three play-off crowns between 2018 and 2022.
9. Blaze

Answer: Coventry

Coventry Blaze were formed in 1965 as Solihull Barons, moving across the West Midlands to Coventry in 2000. The Blaze play home games at Planet Ice. The club were members of the British National League before becoming founder members of the EIHL in 2003.

The Blaze were a major force in the early years of the EIHL, winning the regular season title five times in the first eight seasons of its existence, as well as landing the play-off crown in 2005 and 2015.
10. Stars

Answer: Dundee

Dundee Stars were founded in 2001 and play home games at Dundee Ice Arena. They were members of the British National League and Scottish National League before joining the EIHL in 2010. Most of their time at this level has been spent in the lower regions of the standings.
