3. Mike Linder became Grand Champion of the 10,200lb Pro Stock category in which rural flavoured event at the 2012 NFMS?

Answer: Tractor Pull

The NFMS is the National Farm Machinery Show held annually in Kentucky. The Tractor Pull has been a part of the show since 1969 and has proven a major drawcard to the 300,000 visitors to the site each year. Tractor Pulling involves modified tractors hauling a heavy sled down 100 metres of track. The winner is the competitor whose tractor drags their sled the longest distance. Should more than one tractor complete a "full pull", these will contest again but on this occasion will haul a heavier sled. Achieving the status of Grand Champion at the NFMS is difficult and multiple winners are rare. Linder's win in 2012 was his second, having previously been crowned in 2001.
