1. Heath Miller, drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, went to Virginia.

Answer: True

Miller was a first round pick (30TH Overall) for the Steelers in the 2005 draft.
2. Kevin Jones, drafted by the Detroit Lions, went to Virginia Tech.

Answer: True

Jones, the former first round pick for the Lions, did go to Tech. He has been criticized for his lack of durability.
3. Bruce Smith, one of the greatest NFL sack men of all time, went to Virginia.

Answer: False

Smith played for VA Tech. In the NFL, Smith played for the Bills from 1985-1999 appearing in four Super Bowls. He finished his career with the Redskins from 2000-03.
4. Ronde Barber of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers attended Virginia.

Answer: True

There he teamed with his twin brother Tiki. Both have gone on to have excellent careers in the NFL, Tiki with the Giants, and Ronde with the Bucs.

Brooks was a standout QB for the Cavaliers of Virginia. Originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers, Brooks made a name for himself in New Orleans before signing with the Raiders before the 2006 season.

Graham played for the Hokies of Virginia Tech. Originally undrafted, Graham, signed initially in 2001 with the Bills where he played in 6 games, then kicked for the Panthers in 11 games in 2002. It wasn't until 2003 that he became a staple in the Bengals special teams unit.

Wilford, a tall and lanky target in Jacksonville in 2006, was a 4th round pick in the 2004 draft by the Jags.
8. Wide receiver Billy McMullen played college ball for Virginia Tech.

McMullen played for the Cavs in Charlottesville. Drafted as a 3rd round pick by the Eagles in 2003, McMullen was let go after 3 years in Philly. He signed as a free agent with the Vikes before the 2006 season, and despite playing all 16 games, managed just 23 catches and 2 TD's.
9. Former Lions wide receiver Herman Moore played for Virginia.

Answer: True

Herman Moore teamed with QB Shawn Moore at Virginia to form one the most potent QB/WR tandems in the country at the time. Herman had his best season as a pro in 1995 posting numbers of 123 catches, 1686 yards, and 14 touchdowns for the Lions.
10. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall attended Virginia.

Answer: False

Hall was standout CB as well as an electrifying KR for the Hokies before being drafted by Atlanta in the first round (8th pick overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft. In 2006, DeAngelo was still a Falcon.
