Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The queens compete and perform in teams of two

Launching on Logo in 2012, "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars" appeared to be a test-run, bringing back a dozen of the most popular queens from the core show's first four seasons and pitting them against one another in a six-episode extravaganza testing not only their versatility, but their ability to work together as comedic duos. The gimmick was clunky, ultimately, and many disregarded the season as not-quite-must-watch TV (though it did bring some strong "Untucked" moments and lip syncs).

Ultimately it ended with season 4 runner-up Chad Michaels beating our season 2 runner-up Raven in the final episode, inducting the former into the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
2. 'Lip Sync for Your Legacy' introduced

The second of only two Logo-made "All Stars" seasons, Season 2 is often regarded as top-tier "Drag Race" as a whole, partly due to its extremely-strong ten-queen cast from Seasons 2 through 7, and partly due to the strength of its challenges and lip syncs.

Instead of pairing all of the queens up every episode, a new format was announced in which the top two queens Lip Synced for their Legacy and had the opportunity to eliminate one of the bottom queens from the competition if they won the episode. Alaska took the win this season, being a runner-up in Season 5.
3. Finalists decided by jury vote

Although the Lip Sync For Your Legacy twist continued into this season (being a notable "All Stars" staple going forward), the real twist for "All Stars 3" came in the final episode when the final four queens were forced to face 'A Jury of their Queers'. All eliminated queens returns to give two votes to the competing contestants, ultimately creating the Top 2 and eliminating the others, leaving Season 7 sisters Kennedy Davenport and Trixie Mattel to face off in the final lip sync. Mattel took the prize this season.
4. Past "All Stars" queens are brought back to compete for the first time

Operating under the same rules as "All Stars 2" (and dropping the poorly-received jury vote twist seen in Season 3), "All Stars 4" brought in eight new "All Stars" contenders but saw the return of previously-partnered duo Manila Luzon and Latrice Royale who, while they competed in "All Stars 1", returned for another shot this time around. It would mark the first of several instances in which "All Stars" queens came back for another shot, proving to be fan favourites worth the effort. It would take until "All Stars 8" before an "All Stars" cast didn't receive a recurring "All Stars" competitor (and even then, a "vs. the World" contestant was featured).

This season was also the first to see a dual winner with both Trinity the Tuck and Monet X Change winning the title.
5. Lip Sync Assassins introduced

In "All Stars 5", queens still Lip Synced for their Legacies, but each episode bore only one top queen. That winner would have to face off against a pre-determined Lip Sync Assassin-- a surprise to them on the main stage-- and if the competing queen won, they would retain the right to eliminate one of the bottom contestants that week. If the Lip Sync Assassin won, then the lipstick they held would be determined by all the other competing queens in a democratic vote. This format would be retained until Season 8 of "All Stars" (with a gap in Season 7).

Shea Coulee would win "All Stars" Season 5, however.
6. Rudemption Lip Sync Smackdown

Although other seasons have brought back eliminated queens, and Season 4 featured a 'LaLaPaRUza' of Lip Sync battles, Season six had a system in which one eliminated queen had the opportunity to return to the competition at a late stage by making their way through subsequent eliminated queens in a RuDemption Lip Sync Smackdown. Though Eureka! won this and made it to the finals, the twist was notable for seeing seven consecutive lip syncs featuring Silky Nutmeg Ganache.

The season was ultimately won by Kylie Sonique Love, originally the ninth place contestant from Season 2.
7. The All Winners season

After, at this point, fourteen seasons of the regular "Drag Race" franchise, several more of "Drag Race UK", and six seasons of "All Stars", Season 7 of "All Stars" was the 'All Winners' extravaganza, bringing back eight notable, crowned queens for a shot at being the queen of all queens. Due to the high caliber of the contestants, all eight participating queens remained on the show, without elimination, for the whole run of twelve episodes, instead racking up Legendary Legend Stars for the chance to battle it out in a Lip Sync Smackdown for the crown.

This season was won by Season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon, who became the first doubly-crowned queen of the show.
8. The Fame Games

Season 8 of "All Stars" reverted the competition back to the format encountered from Seasons 5 and 6, having the top queen of every week face a Lip Sync Assassin for the win and the chance to eliminate a competitor. The catch was that, instead of a chance at reentering the competition, the eliminated queens would compete in the Fame Games, which allowed them to showcase every week's runway looks and participate in a talent show for an additional prize before the finale.

The queen who won The Fame Games was LaLa Ri (who shared in the lip sync with Jaymes Mansfield) while Jimbo won the season proper, becoming the first non-American queen to be crowned on a U.S. franchise iteration.
9. Queens competed for charity

Presenting a format akin to the 'All Winners' season, the ninth "All Stars" featured eight queens who, instead of competing for a personal cash prize, competed for a $200,000 USD cash reward to be given as a charitable donation to the charity of their choosing, with all other challenges also contributing to donation amounts throughout the season. All eight queens participated throughout the season with the aim to earn Beautiful Benefactress Badges, and the top three in the finale lip synced for the crown and title (which was given to Season 14 contestant Angeria Paris VanMicheals).
10. Bracketed 'Tournament of All Stars'

Finally shaking up the formula to a significant degree, "All Stars 10" was declared the 'Tournament of All Stars' and saw eighteen(!) returning queens participate. The first nine episodes of the season were split into three sets of three with six queens competing for points that would secure them spots in the final bracket round. Those last three episodes would see the queens whittle down to seven (and one wildcard) who would compete in a lip sync bracket for the crown.

This season was ultimately won by fourth-time competitor Ginger Minj, who had Jorgeous (on her third time on the show) as runner-up.
