Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This special 'All-Winners' season of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars" saw the return of how many queens competing for the prize?

Answer: Eight

While all other "All Stars" seasons saw the return of (generally) non-winners vying for the crown (save for odd exceptions), this was the first instance in which RuPaul invited past winners of regular and "All Stars" seasons back to compete to become the Queen of Queens. With an increased cash payout for the top Queen of the season, drag queens returned to the workroom for the first time, in some cases, in ten years.

While some of these queens were newer (with Shea Couleé having won her crown as recently as late 2020) some (like Raja) stretched back into the show's early days and others (like The Vivienne) came from international seasons.
2. Week after week, the queens were told that they would be vying for which of these rewards, which would determine their standings at the end of the season?

Answer: Legendary Legend Stars

With such high stakes and such prestigious queens, this season needed a rule shake-up. Firstly, all eight competing queens would stay every week, ensuring they participated in every challenge and every runway leading up to the finale. Instead of facing elimination, they would end episodes with a Lip Sync for the Win in which the top two queens would compete for a cash prize. Both winners would also receive a Legendary Legend Star week after week, and the top four queens at the end of the season (with the most stars) would compete in a Lip Sync LaLaPaRuza Smackdown for the crown.
3. The winner of each episode had the power to block a fellow queen with which of these provided they won the Lip Sync for the Win?

Answer: Plunger

Once RuPaul decided the winner of the Lip Sync in any given episode, that queen would get rewarded with a cash tip and the opportunity to affect the upcoming challenge, effectively blocking the queen of their choosing by giving them the Platinum Plunger and preventing them from receiving a Legendary Legend Star should they win the proceeding challenge.

The only queen not eligible to be blocked would be their fellow lip syncer. One might argue that the plunger is gold; another might argue that plungers are for unblocking instead of blocking. Let's just say it's camp.
4. Snatch Game, featured in episode two, featured two rounds of the popular "Drag Race" staple. In this episode, whose Judy Garland impersonation was regarded as a masterclass of Snatch Game?

Answer: Jinkx Monsoon

In a twist on the traditional Snatch Game, RuPaul told the queens that they would be performing the classic game show twice, each with different characters. It meant that everyone had to embody varied impersonations and, most of all, make RuPaul laugh.

It led to a consistently hilarious Snatch Game won by Trinity the Tuck for her takes on Satan and Leslie Jordan and Jinkx Monsoon for her Natasha Lyonne and Judy Garland (the latter of which was praised by the judges as, likely, the best Snatch Game of all time). Jinkx would go on to win the episode, blocking Shea Couleé with the plunger.
5. This season's ball episode featured a guest appearance from what TV personality, an inspiration for the challenge?

Answer: Vanna White

In episode three, the queens needed to produce three looks to get them through The Realness of Fortune Ball starting with one evoking Vanna White Realness, one themed around a 'Before and After' puzzle, and one, self-made in the workroom, for the Realness of Fortune Eleganza category themed around exotic vacation destinations and their key colours (eg. the White Cliffs of Dover for the colour white).

When the queens hit the main stage for the ball, all of them were surprised to see Vanna Whie herself announcing not only the contestants, but their respective categories.

The episode's top queens were Jaida Essence Hall and Trinity the Tuck who, subsequently, lip synched to Beyonce's "Green Light" for the power to block. Jaida won, blocking Jinkx Monsoon leading into an acting challenge in episode four.
6. The fifth week of the competition saw the queens standing before the judging panel presenting for which of these public speaking events?

Answer: Commencement addresses

In episode five, the queens were tasked with creating and communicating commencement speeches for future generations. The stakes were raised for all of them when Ru informed the group that there would be two Legendary Legend Stars up for grabs for the winners, one for themselves and one for someone to be gifted to. Raja and Jinkx Monsoon won the episode, each receiving a star, and they handed their extras off to Yvie Oddly and Jaida Essence Hall, respectively.

It meant that going into week six, all eight contestants had at least one star.
7. The queens had to create girl groups in week six, performing on a parody of MTV's "Total Request Live". Which of these did they need to embody?

Answer: Y2K pop groups

Evoking the generation's girl groups in look, sound, and performance, the queens were left to themselves in this episode to form quartets and create lyrics and choreography to one of two songs-- "Titanic" or "2Gether4Ever". The challenge resulted in Yvie Oddly's first win and she went head-to-head against The Vivienne following a 'Night of 1,000 Dolly Partons' on the runway.

The two performed to "Why'd You Come in Here Lookin' Like That" with The Vivienne taking the $10,000 prize. What this meant was that, at this halfway point in the competition, all eight queens had received the chance to lip sync for their legacy at least once.
8. In week nine, following a TikTok dance challenge, the winning queens competed in the first ever spoken-word lip sync to a monologue from which of these?

Answer: Designing Women

In week nine, the queens were tasked with creating viral dances that could be presented on TikTok, making use of one of RuPaul's songs to sell their own personal brands to the masses. While all of the queens brought themselves to the table, it was Monet X Change and Jinkx Monsoon who won the episode and went head-to-head in the lip sync.

This said, for the first time in "Drag Race" history, the queens wouldn't perform a musical track, but a monologue from "Designing Women's" second episode in which Julia Sugarbaker describes 'The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia'. Monet won the episode, blocking Raja.

It would be the last blocking of the season.
9. Who won the title of 'Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses'?

Answer: Raja

Heading into the finale's Lip Sync LaLaPaRuza Smackdown, four queens advanced to the bracket while those with the lowest number of stars-- Yvie Oddly, The Vivienne, Raja, and Jaida Essence Hall-- were informed that they too would be competing for the title of Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses as well as a $50,000 prize in the lower bracket. What resulted was a final lip sync between Raja and Yvie Oddly to Eurythmics' "Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves" in which Raja, the earliest crowned queen of the season, took the consolation title.
10. Which queen was crowned the winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7"?

Answer: Jinkx Monsoon

When the Legendary Legend Stars finally worked themselves out, it ended with Jinkx Monsoon having enough for the finale in advance of the final challenge, Monet X Change and Shea Coulee receiving enough from the talent show, and Trinity the Tuck being selected to round out the top four.

In the end, the four took on the final bracket of the Lip Sync LaLaPaRuza Smackdown and Jinkx Monsoon and Monet X Change went into the final lip sync to Katy Perry's "Swish Swish". It was Jinkx Monsoon, whose track record was the determining factor, who took the title of 'Queen of All Queens' and the $200,000 grand prize.
