Ford is the lieutenant, Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) is the ranking military officer, Teyla (Rachel Luttrell) is the resident alien and Weir (Torri Higginson) is the civilian leader of the expedition. Also on the main cast list is Rodney McKay (David Hewlett) and Carson Beckett (Paul McGillion).

Jessice Steen played Weir in 'SG-1's 'Lost City'. In my opinion, Torri Higginson makes a much better Dr. Weir than Jessica Steen did, no offense to Ms. Steen. The other three actresses were all in various episodes of season 7.

"Rising" is a two-parter which has guest appearances by Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks of "Stargate SG-1" fame.

Ari Cohen played Tyrus in "Underground", Robert Davi played Commander Kolya in "The Eye" and Garwin Sanford played Dr Weir's partner Simon in "Home" and "Rising". Colm Meaney is better known for playing Chief O'Brien in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine".

Answer: Letters from Pegasus

In "Home", the Atlantis team think they've found a gate that will take them back to Earth, but it doesn't. In "The Gift", Teyla finds she has powers that make her able to sense the Wraith and in "Sanctuary" they find a world ruled over by an Ancient.

In "Letters from Pegasus", they are able to sent a few seconds of transmission through the gate to Earth, enabling them to send letters home.

Answer: Czech

Dr Zelenka is played by David Nykl. The Atlantis expedition is made up of people from many different cultures on Earth, with Zelenka from the Czech Republic, Dr Beckett from the Scotland, McKay from Canada etc.
