That's right, an uncomfortable hospital chair. Just so he could stay by Will's side. You'd think he could have gone home to sleep in his bed, but no, he didn't want to leave Will.

On this movie "date", Will feels the presence of the Mind Flayer and Mike asks if he's okay while looking at his lips.

We learn this in Mike's season 2 monologue to Will when they try to break him out of the Mind Flayer's control. Crying, Mike recalls their first meeting:

"Do you remember the first day that we met? It was the first day of kindergarten. I knew nobody. I had no friends. And I just felt so alone and so scared, but, I saw you on the swings and you were alone too. You were just swinging by yourself. And I just walked up to you and I asked... I asked if you wanted to be my friend. And you said yes... you said yes. It was the best thing I've ever done."

This speech is what breaks through to Will, who starts communicating via Morse code.

The song "Heroes" by David Bowie from 1977 is about two lovers and their desire to be together against all odds. The most romantic and queer coded part of the lyrics plays when Mike cries over thinking he has lost Will. Hm, it's almost as if they were trying to tell us something here.

As soon as Will goes off to dance with her, Mike regrets it. He then looks at Will and the girl with a rather sad face.

Answer: biked across town in a thunderstorm to apologize to him

One episode prior, we saw El dump Mike, after which he did actually mope around and wonder what he did wrong. However, Max told El: "He'll come crawling back to you in no time, begging for forgiveness." As it turns out, the only one he begged forgiveness from is Will.

As a side note: while Mike was being a jerk, the real reason for his "It's not my fault you don't like girls!" is actually internalized homophobia. Mike was projecting, so that comment is something he thinks about himself. It's easily misinterpreted as a homophobic remark to Will.

Answer: Mike smiles and makes heart eyes at Will who smiles back

D&D is subtextually used as their love language. What Mike is really asking Will is if he is going to replace him with someone else. A small moment that has a very deep meaning.

Weird, right? He suddenly can't hug his best friend of ten years. Well, that's because Mike is suppressing his feelings for Will, which means no physical contact. He also gets insanely jealous right after asking Will about the painting, which he thinks is for a girl.

Lol. Who said you weren't friends, Mike? He asked "And us?" as in "And what about our friendship?". Will was referring to their friendship and Mike is the one who took it romantically.

Answer: heart

Yes, Mike is the heart. In the season 4 van scene, Will confesses his love for Mike but disguises his feelings, so Mike thinks they are coming from El. Will encourages Mike to be the leader we later see in season 5 vol 1, Mike the Brave. Giving Mike belief in himself and then pushing him to save El, while keeping his love hidden, shows how incredibly selfless Will is.

Answer: Sometimes I think it's just scary to open up like that

Will says this at the junkyard, one of several heart-to-heart scenes from season 4. Mike talks about how he should have explained himself to Eleven, and Will says "Sometimes I think it's just scary to open up like that, to say how you really feel. Especially to people you care about the most, because what if they don't like the truth?" Mike nods in agreement before they're interrupted by Argyle (the interruption trope is used for all of their heart-to-heart scenes in s4).

The other three quotes are said by Mike. "It's not the same without you" and "I think it'll be easier if we're a team" are heard in Will's bedroom in Lenora, when Mike takes responsibility for being an idiot and tells Will that they should be best friends again.

"We really need some magic up here" is a quote from season 5 episode 4, when Mike calls Will a Sorcerer and encourages him to protect those he loves, which he, of course, later does.

This is hard unless you are a true Byler. Blue and yellow are the colors associated with Mike and Will, based on the color of their bedroom walls and the clothes they usually wear. In season 5, we see their first meeting on the swings in Will's film reel, the moment that Mike recalled in his season 2 monologue, and the swings are yellow and blue.

Robin doesn't mention the lip glance, but that doesn't mean Mike hasn't looked at Will's lips, because he has - several times. It's an understatement to say that they have plenty of shared looks in the show, but the knee and arm touches are perhaps easier to miss - one can be seen when Mike sits down next to Will after getting socks at Rink-o-Mania, and the other as Mike closes the gap to Will on the field in season 5.
So Will has gotten all of these signals from Mike, and after Robin says this to him, he has a look of realization.
