"Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" ran from 1968-2001, much longer than I had imagined.
Mister Rogers had a soft voice and explained things clearly. My kids, together with millions of others over the years, appreciated his demeanor.
He introduced kids to his TV neghbors, showed the insides of factories and how they made things, introduced the topic of feelings to kids (and possibly their parents too) and much more.

"I Love Lucy" ran from 1951-1957.
Lucille Ball, together with her husband Desi Arnaz, starred in this sitcom which, together with Lucy's antics, also featured one of the first times in TV history that a pregnant woman was shown onscreen with the pregnancy part of the plot.
It was also groundbreaking in showing an interracial marriage.

"Monday Night Football" was initiated in 1970 and continues weekly programming (during the NFL season).
It was broadcast by ABC at the beginning.
The NFL envisioned moving some of the games from traditional Sunday games to increase viewership as well as fans' excitement for the game by highlighting a game a week. It was a challenge to do this without taxing the players too much and Monday night was agreed upon.
The hosts for the first few years were Howard Cosell, the then-recently retired Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Don Meredith, and Frank Gifford.
"Thursday Night Football" only got started 2006.
