4. What news did Caesar receive shortly after the war in Gaul was over?

Answer: His daughter died

Caesar's daughter, Julia, was married to Pompey. Caesar received a letter from Pompey saying that Julia had died in childbirth and the child, a girl, was still-born. Her death scene shows her asking Pompey to be good to her father. When Caesar tells Antony the news, he mentions that Pompey would be needing a new wife.
5. What did Atia want Timon to purchase for her?

Answer: White horse

Atia wanted the horse as a gift for Caesar. The horse is first scene being walked by Timon through Rome. It's implied that Atia had sex with Timon as a reward for purchasing the horse for her.
6. What did Atia want Octavian to do in this episode?

Answer: Take her gift to Gaul

Atia wanted Octavian to ride into Caesar's camp in Gaul on the white horse Atia had purchased. Octavian worried it was dangerous, but Atia was unconcerned. After all, he would be perfectly safe with his slaves.
7. Who made the speech about how Caesar wanted to destroy the Republic in the Senate house?

Answer: Cato

Cato believed that Caesar was trying to buy himself a crown, and wore a black toga to highlight the fact that he was in mourning for the Republic. Cato asked that Caesar be removed as governor of Gaul, that his army be disbanded and he be recalled to answer charges of theft, bribery and treason. Pompey vetoed Cato's request. Cicero then said both Cato and Pompey were wrong...
8. Who tried to offer a bride for Pompey first?

Answer: Scipio

Scipio brought his daughter, Cornelia, to the theatre to introduce her to Pompey. Cornelia didn't want to linger at the theatre as there was a nude woman on the stage. Pompey was then taken aside and told he shouldn't continue to align himself with Caesar.
9. What does Octavia give Octavian to keep while he goes on his journey?

Answer: a ring

Octavian was packing a little bag of trinkets and Octavia gave him a ring she wore on her finger. He also packed things like a figurine of a lion.
10. What does Atia threaten Andros with if he doesn't bring Octavian back safely?

Answer: She'd use his children's eyes for beads.

Andros was one of the men who went off with Octavian to bring the horse to Caesar.
11. Who else wanted the object that Timon had bought on Atia's behalf?

Answer: Pompey

Pompey wanted the white horse, but was informed that Atia had already bought it to send to Gaul as a gift. Pompey was upset that it seemed like Caesar had everything. Pompey then suggested to his slave about 'killing two birds with one stone' as the slave was already going to be in Gaul.
12. What colour were the people who stole Caesar's standard?

Answer: blue

The thieves had painted their bodies with blue paint and were called Blue Spaniards. Later on, this is how Pullo and Vorenus figured out that Caesar's standard was in the cart: they found the blue paint in a cart. The eagle was found being carried by one of Pompey's men.
13. How long had it been since Brutus and Caesar had seen one another?

Answer: 6 years

When Brutus arrives at Caesar's camp, Caesar remarks that it had been five years since they had seen one another. Brutus corrects him and says it had actually been six years. Brutus then remarked that Caesar's tent was almost like a proper house.

Brutus was traveling through Gaul as he had been visiting his cousin.
14. What did Antony request from Caesar to find the eagle?

Answer: half talon of gold

Antony requested and was given a half talon of gold. However, he only gave half of that to Vorenus.
15. How did Vorenus tell Antony he would retrieve Caesar's eagle?

Answer: take captives

Antony asked Vorenus how he would attempt to find Caesar's eagle. Vorenus replied that he would take captives from the major tribes and crucify them until someone talked. Then he would go in quick and quiet with one or two men and get it. Antony agreed and told Vorenus to go ahead and find the eagle. Antony then offered a torture detachment and told Vorenus he could choose his own men if he wished.
