Answer: Road Sweeper

Trigger is played by Roger Lloyd Pack. Trigger made his debut on "Only Fools and Horses" on September 8, 1981, in the very first episode, called "Big Brother." On the show, Trigger plays the part of a road sweeper. He is a bit of a dimwit but has his heart in the right place. Sometimes, when in conversation, he gets the wrong end of the stick and comes out with some very funny lines.

In the show, he calls Rodney "Dave," and when Rodney once corrected Trigger, Trigger said, "Are you sure?" One of the funniest scenes has to be the one about the brush Trigger has had for 20 years. He goes on to say he has had the same brush for 20 years, and in that time it has had 17 new heads and 14 new handles. The barman says, "How can it be the same brush then?" Trigger shows him a photo and says, "What more proof do you need?"
