Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'Turnabout Countdown': What's unique about this tutorial case compared to the other mainline games'?

Answer: It goes on for two trial days.

'Turnabout Countdown' starts with Juniper Woods not only being on trial for detonating the bomb that blows up the courtroom, but for murdering Candice Arme in the process. She is not declared guilty on the first day, as they are given more time to investigate (which does not happen for any other mainline tutorial!). The second day picks up with adding assault to Apollo Justice to her rap sheet.

'The Foreign Turnabout' not only had a demo as well, but Gaspen is also present there (for cowardly reasons). (This case is also the closest to go on for 'two days', but it's pseudo-investigation for one day, and then trial the next, meaning only one trial day.) As for chronology, 'The Lost Turnabout' and 'Turnabout Memories' are also out of order (on a MASON System technicality, so is 'Turnabout Trump').
2. 'Turnabout Countdown': What sets Candice Arme's dying message apart from the rest of the ones present in the mainline games?

Answer: It identifies the actual culprit instead of the defendant.

Candice uses Ted Tonate's bomb transporter case ID number (L10015R) to try identifying him. The only reason it doesn't immediately work is due to three factors: the bomb blowing off the letter R, Ted covering up said message due to being first on the scene, and then his changing of it to say WOODS to blame Juniper yet again.

Compare to all other dying messages:

'Turnabout Sisters': Implicates Maya, defendant
'Rise from the Ashes': Implicates Ema, witness
'The Lost Turnabout': Implicates Maggey (Maggie), defendant
'Bridge to the Turnabout': Implicates Maya, witness
'Turnabout Serenade': Points to Romein LeTouse, victim
'Turnabout Storyteller': Implicates Bucky Whet, defendant (originally was Uendo Toneido, witness)
3. 'The Monstrous Turnabout': Which of these yokai names does Jinxie Tenma not bring up?

Answer: Jibanyan

She says "Enma-Dai-O" when first meeting Apollo, "Nurahiyon" when speaking to the Judge, and "Kasha" when being Mood Matrixed. "Jibanyan" is from the Yo-Kai Watch game!
4. 'The Monstrous Turnabout': On the second day of the case, when Apollo and Athena Cykes go visit Damian Tenma in detention, how does he act?

Answer: He acts possessed.

While he does temporarily snap back to normal when worrying over his daughter in the first talk option, for the most part he is still pretending to be the demonic yokai Tenma Taro.
5. 'Turnabout Academy': What is Phoenix's first slip of his 'Beanix' era when he and Athena are investigating?

Answer: He keeps worrying that someone will mess with the crime scene.

Athena's first instinct is to call the police, but Phoenix stops her and says they should investigate on their own while the crime scene is still fresh - clearly assuming something will happen to it if they turn their backs (4-1 flashbacks incoming...).
6. 'Turnabout Academy': Are the results of the 'noise' found on the tape recorder officially brought to court?

Answer: No

While they do send it off to be analyzed, it's not brought up again for any "Aha!" moments.
7. 'The Cosmic Turnabout': What is the fear that Solomon Starbuck possesses?

Answer: Astrophobia

Sol is, ironically, afraid of space - which is what astrophobia is.
8. 'The Cosmic Turnabout': Of the people they run into, who doesn't seem to recognize Athena (or think they do) when she and Phoenix run into them at GYAXA?

Answer: Yuri Cosmos

Sol thinks he might know her from somewhere, Aura calls her "Her Royal Highness" the second she recognizes Widget around her neck, and Ponco does not have the same "I don't know you!" reaction to her as she did Phoenix (implying she was already registered). Yuri is the only one to not recognize her (or make any indication they may have met before)
9. 'Turnabout for Tomorrow': In the Detention Center, Ted Tonate is attempting to plead his case for not blowing up Courtroom No. 4 to Phoenix, Trucy, and Detective Bobby Fulbright. Is he telling the truth here?

Answer: Yes

Earlier, he saved everyone inside from the very bomb, and he tells you now that someone stole the remote switch for it. You also figure out that the same switch was planted onto Sol when he was unconscious, and later on you learn the real reason for the explosion - to get rid of identifying evidence - so he is, indeed, telling the truth here.
10. 'Turnabout for Tomorrow': When does Miles Edgeworth make his appearance in the case?

Answer: After the GYAXA Robot Revolt

Aura notes on arranging a prosecutor to oversee the retrial of UR-1 while she's speaking through Clonco, and after Phoenix and Pearl Fey go inside the Robotics Lab, Miles pulls up sometime after said robot informs the two he has arrived.
11. 'Turnabout Reclaimed': Pearl gets a normal introduction in this case, yet when she shows up in 'Tomorrow', it's without much fanfare. Why might this seem weird to some players?

Answer: This case can be played at (almost) any time, and it takes place before 'Tomorrow'.

As a DLC case, 'Reclaimed' could be played before any case except for Countdown, which was needed to unlock it. Chronologically, this case is after Monstrous but before all the rest. For anyone who plays this (especially) after all the normal cases, going from no intro to an "long time, no see" type of intro would look pretty strange.
12. 'Turnabout Reclaimed': What's something that happens in this case that never happens anywhere else (case-wise)?

Answer: The Magatama runs out of power.

We do see in the next game that Magatamas can run out of power (a-la Rite of Turnabout - and know they can be powerless at all because of Reunion), but up until now, Phoenix has not had to worry about it. (Lucky he ran into Pearl here, or he'd have to charge it up during Tomorrow instead.)

As for the remaining answers:

Singing testimony - Pees'lubn An'distan'dhin in the next game sings his testimony in two different ways.

Performing area - See Serenade (Sunshine Coliseum) or Magical (Penrose Theater).

Only Phoenix and Athena at the bench without Apollo - Happens in Countdown (as Apollo had passed out and gone to take it easy).
