The Red Gazelle is one of the hardest, but most rewarding vehicles in the game to use. It has very, very bad Body Strength, so it will get knocked around very easily by opponents. Its Grip is merely average, but its Boost Strength clocks in with an A.
This means that players looking to use the Gazelle must use some finesse and avoid directly engaging with opponents. Hitting Boosts is an absolute must.
2. Jody Summer
Answer: White Cat
The White Cat is one of the easier vehicles to use in the game. It has average Body and Boost scores, so it is not spectacular nor weak directly engaging opponents and driving a little bit aggressively. It has an excellent Grip score of A, making it great for players who want to take a more tactical approach as well.
3. Dr. Stewart
Answer: Golden Fox
The Golden Fox is an all-or-nothing vehicle with a high skill curve. It has great Boost Strength but abysmal Body and Grip that make it difficult to control and impossible to play aggressively with.
4. Baba
Answer: Iron Tiger
True to its name, the Iron Tiger is a sturdy vehicle that can take a beating. It has an amazing Grip and a good Body score that make it well tailored to playing aggressively with. However, its Boost is fairly weak, so it can be difficult to comeback if the player falls behind.
5. Samurai Goroh
Answer: Fire Stingray
Samurai Goroh's Fire Stingray is an excellent choice for players who specifically want to play aggressively against their opponents. It has an excellent Body score of an A, and its Grip of B is perfectly solid as well. Its Boost is a meager D which can make it difficult to catch back up if the driver falls behind.
This means the player must commit themselves to playing as disruptively against others as possible to get the most out of the Fire Stingray.
6. Pico
Answer: Wild Goose
The Wild Goose is a very well rounded vehicle with no particular weaknesses. It is well tailored to adapting on the fly to how opponents are playing and the given race track being raced. It has an excellent Body score of an A with sturdy Boost of B and a workable Grip score of a C.
7. Captain Falcon
Answer: Blue Falcon
The main man himself drives the absolute single most well rounded vehicle in the entire game, tailor made for players newer to the racing game. It has stats which are all around slightly above average in every single respect.
8. Octoman
Answer: Deepclaw
The Deepclaw is a very all around above average vehicle with no weaknesses in any serious way. It has a Body and Boost scores of B each with a workable Grip score of a C.
9. Mr. EAD
Answer: Great Star
The Great Star is an extremely fragile, volatile vehicle which demands extreme care from the player. It has a horrendous Body score of an E, making it easily bullied by basically any other vehicle in the game. It also has a poor Grip of D, making it hard to control.
However, it's hard to control precisely because it's an absolute speed demon. Not only does this vehicle boast the highest max speed possible of any vehicle in the game at 1129 km/h, but it also has a Boost scores of an A. Players who are vigilant on controlling this erratic thing will blaze past the competition- and that's 'past', not 'through' because this thing seriously can't handle colliding with anything.
10. James McCloud
Answer: Little Wyvern
The Little Wyvern is a peculiar vehicle with a very distinct profile. It has an awful Body score of an E, but decent Boost and Grip scores of B each. That makes this vehicle demand a certain finesse from its handler, as it can't handle being played aggressively at all. However, it does have the control and boost potential to make navigating this weakness fairly forgiving.
11. Kate Alen
Answer: Super Piranha
The Super Piranha is a relatively well-rounded vehicle. It has a Body and Grip scoring at B with a workable Boost of C.
12. Zoda
Answer: Death Anchor
The Death Anchor is a glass cannon of a vehicle. It has a blazing Boost score of an A, a very bad Body of E, and a workable Grip of a C. This vehicle is not well designed for aggressive play, but is good for players who have good awareness and avoid confronting opposing vehicles.
13. Jack Levin
Answer: Astro Robin
The Astro Robin is an extremely easy vehicle to handle, but it has a very low performance ceiling that makes it difficult to actually get results with. It does have good scores at first glance- a Grip of A is amazing, a Body of B gives it potential for aggressive play, but the Boost of a mere D is a bit troubling. Low Boost combined with offering the absolute lowest peak km/h of the entire game (1017) makes this vehicle hard to get results with.
14. Bio Rex
Answer: Big Fang
The Big Fang is very similar to the Astro Robin, and even has literally the exact same Body/Boost/Grip scores of B, D and A respectively. The Big Fang is a little faster overall than the Astro Robin, but still features roughly the same mediocre overall results.
15. The Skull
Answer: Sonic Phantom
The Sonic Phantom is a blazing piece of mech that can handle its own against direct engagements from enemies. It has a fantastic Boost score of an A with high km/h of 1114 at its absolute peak. A Body of C makes it respectable at collisions, and a Grip of a D is unfortunate, but isn't the end of the world. It just demands some degree of skillful play from its operator.
16. Antonio Guster
Answer: Green Panther
The Green Panther is a very strong, sturdy vehicle with size betraying its above average overall speed. It has a very high Body of A, letting it throw its weight around with just about anyone. It has a Boost of a B, letting it put in some mileage out of landing boosts. The Grip of a D makes it a little unwieldy, but not unmanagably so.
17. Super Arrow
Answer: King Meteor
The King Meteor is a glass cannon that rather lacks the 'cannon' aspect of the trait. It has a horrible Body score of an E without the typical acceleration or speed you'd expect from a small vehicle. Its Boost and Grip are both a B.
18. Mrs. Arrow
Answer: Queen Meteor
The Queen Meteor has the literal exact same stats as the King Meteor, right down to having the very same peak km/h and the exact same Body/Boost/Grip scores. There is functionally no difference between the two. Whichever you prefer would basically entirely come down to which character you prefer.
19. Blood Falcon
Answer: Blood Hawk
One of few vehicles in the game that the player has to actually unlock, the Blood Falcon is absolutely worth the effort. But, it does demand a high skill curve out of its user. It has an electrifying Boost of an A, and a sturdy Body of a B. However, its Grip of E is notoriously awful, just as it was in "F-Zero 64".
The Blood Falcon is notoriously difficult to control, but a skilled player can make this thing seem as if it's the most overpowered vehicle in the game.
20. Black Shadow
Answer: Black Bull
This is another vehicle which must first be unlocked. Just like "F-Zero 64", the Black Bull's stats are notoriously eye opening. This is THE vehicle for people who want to bully the bejesus out of their foes, featuring the highest Body of the game getting a letter grade of an A, to go with excellent handling via a Grip of an A.
This makes it extremely well suited for actively harassing foes consistently all game long. However, it also has the absolute dead last Boost score, gathering a grade of a putrid E.
This makes the Black Bull's purpose very straightforward: the player must endeavor to constantly collide with foes as often as they can to inflict as much disruption on the racetrack as possible. Otherwise, they'll be left in the dirt.
