1. Where is the Klingon homeworld located?

Answer: Kronos

As we learn in "Broken Bow" Kronos (pronounced Qo'noS) is the Klingon homeworld. On Stardate 9521.6 in 2293 Praxis the largest moon of the Klingon Empire exploded poisoning the atmosphere with lethal radiation, and polluted their ozone layer and oxygen. This event lead to the Khitomer Accords which lead to the Klingons joining the Federation.

Kling comes from TNG episode 'Heart of Glory' where one of the renegade Klingons says 'those traitors of Kling.' Kling was supposed to be the given name of the Klingon Homeworld; however, the writers realized it sounded pretty silly. Kling is now regarded as a city or district on Qo'nos. If you chose Hoth, you're in the wrong universe, buddy!

The only way to stop the brainwashing is to destroy both spheres at the same time.

Who could forget the "DaiMon Lurin Incident" in "Rascals"? Odo quoted it to Worf in "Bar Association" to refresh his memory. On Stardate 46235.7 Lurin stole two Birds of Prey from the Klingons and marooned the Enterprise crew and a Federation science team on Largos VII. Lurin was operating an illegal mine on the planet, and forced them into slave labor. Lurin's plan was to sell the Enterprise on the Romulan black market but he failed. Lurin's plan backfired when the officers (all of whom were turned into kids by a transporter accident) rebelled against Lurin, and returned the three ships to their rightful owners. Lurin was placed in the brig, and traded to the Ferengi where he and his crew were given life prison terms in a Ferengi prison for piracy.
