Answer: Common swift

Strangely, the common swift's nearest relatives are thought to be hummingbirds. Incredibly, when not breeding, the common swift spends almost its entire life flying. It even sleeps on the wing. Often their nests are built out of airborne material caught whilst on the wing and stuck together by the bird's saliva.
