Socalmiguel, an active and important member of the Quiz Makers' Guild was a Renaissance Man whose interests included fantasy football, classical music, gardening, theater, US & Mexican history, among others. During the first century BCE, Romans used a type of checking system called "praescriptiones" which were written "bills of exchange". The bills facilitated trade by removing the need to carry large sums of currency in order to purchase goods.
