Answer: The Mamas and the Papas

The Mamas and the Papas formed in 1965 and were responsible for such hits as "Go Where You Wanna Go" (1965) and "Monday, Monday" (1966). Michelle co-wrote hits "Creeque Alley" (1967) and "California Dreamin'" (1965). They were very popular from 1965-1968. They broke up in 1970, reunited, and split again in 1971.
