Michael John Douglas decided to change his name when he became an actor because he didn't wish to be confused with Michael Kirk Douglas. He chose to change has name to Keaton after reading an article about Diane Keaton.

James and Peter Aurness, better known as James Arness of "Gunsmoke" and Peter Graves of "Airplane!", are brothers, as are David and Robert Carradine, and Eric and Julia Roberts are brother and sister.
