Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Maureen Reillette "Rebbie"

Rebbie was the first of ten children born to Joe and Katherine Jackson. Although she was born into a musical family, she is not as well known as some of her siblings. As a child, she took clarinet, piano, and dance lessons. She got married when she was eighteen years old, and had three children.

She did appear in Las Vegas with her brothers, and released a few albums at the end of the twentieth century, but they did not have the commercial success that some of her siblings experienced with their music.
2. Sigmund Esco "Jackie"

Jackie Jackson was the second child, and first boy, born in the Jackson family. He arrived on May 4, 1951, which was his mother's 21st birthday. It has been reported that growing up, he wanted to become a professional baseball player, but ended up becoming a member of the Jackson 5 (later to be called "The Jacksons") when his father formed that group. Jackie Jackson received a lot of media coverage in the 1980s due to an affair that he had with fellow pop-star Paula Abdul.
3. Toriano Adaryll "Tito"

Tito is the third-born child in the Jackson family, born on October 15, 1953. After performing with his brothers when he was younger, he started a solo career in 2003. Tito was awarded the Mississippi Music Project (MMP) Music Award as a solo artist in 2018.

He was also inducted into the MMP Hall of Fame as a solo artist at this time. He was also given both of these honours as a member of The Jacksons in 2019.
4. Jermaine La Jaune

Jermaine was born on December 11, 1954, the fourth child of Joe and Katherine Jackson. He sang and played bass when he was in The Jackson 5 and other groups with his brothers. In 1975, his brothers left Motown Records to sign with another label. However, Jermaine split with the group and stayed at Motown.

Some believe that this was because he had married Berry Gordy's daughter. Gordon was the founder of Motown Records, so some have speculated that Jermaine's decision to remain with Motown may have had something to do with family loyalty.

He did reunite with his brothers for various specials over the years, but also had success as a solo artist.
5. La Toya Yvonne

La Toya was born on May 29, 1956. This was her sister Rebbie's 6th birthday. When she was young, she performed with her brothers and sisters before striking out on her own in 1980. Her first album was moderately successful, peaking at at #116 on the US Billboard 200, and at #26 on the Billboard R&B album chart.

In 1989 and in 1991, La Toya posed topless for Playboy Magazine. She ended up in an abusive marriage from 1989 through 1997. As a result, her career suffered, and she did not work in the industry until the early 2000s.

At that point, she once again became involved in music and reality television.
6. Marlon David

Marlon was born on born March 12, 1957. He had a twin brother named Brandon who died within 24 hours due to respiratory failure from their premature birth. He was a member of The Jackson 5 (and later The Jacksons) with his brothers. He also has dabbled in solo work.

He released one album called "Baby Tonight" in 1987. It reached #22 on the Top R&B Albums, but he has not released any further albums until the time this quiz was written in 2022.
7. Michael Joseph

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958. He may be the most popular of all of the Jackson siblings, having gained the nickname "King of Pop" durable his career. Unfortunately, he passed away from cardiac arrest at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009.
8. Steven Randall "Randy"

Randy Jackson was born on October 29, 1961. He is the youngest son in the Jackson clan. He wasn't an original member of The Jackson 5 because he was only two years old when that group of his brothers was formed. He officially joined The Jacksons in 1975 when his brother Jermaine left the group when they transitioned out of Motown. Randy has had many legal issues over the years, ranging from allegations of spousal abuse to filing for bankruptcy.
9. Janet Damita Jo

Janet Jackson was born on May 16, 1966. She has had a very successful career as both a television star and a musician. She has appeared on tv shows such as "The Jacksons", "Good Times", "Diff'rent Strokes", and "Fame". She has also released a number of successful albums and songs. Janet Jackson gained notoriety during the 2004 Super Bowl.

She was performing with Justin Timberlake during the half-time show when he ripped her top back and exposed her right breast to the live television audience. This event was described as a "wardrobe malfunction" in the apologies that were issued afterwards.
10. Joh'Vonnie

Joh'Vonnie Jackson is a half-sibling to all of the other Jacksons in the list. She was born on August 30, 1974. Her father was Joe Jackson who fathered all of the other siblings. Her mother was Cheryle Terrell, a woman who had a 25-year affair with Joe Jackson. Katherine Jackson, the mother of the other nine Jackson siblings, apparently did not know of the affair, or of his other daughter. Joh'Vonnie has developed relationships with a number of her half-siblings.
