Sinestro was no Green Lantern by that point; Sinestro was on a one time deal with the Guardians to stop Jordan. In a true cowboy fashion, Hal Jordan was on his way to absorb all the power of the battery when he was confronted by his old teacher/friend/ally Kilowog. Armed with an unbeatable will along with numerous other GL rings, Hal eventually killed Kilowog by blasting him with a high intensity energy beam that dissolved him!

2. In the beginning of "The Kree Skrull War" the Vision was shot down and injured by what?

Answer: 3 cows

The Vision was shot down by 3 cows that turned out to be Skrulls. Injured, he went back to the mansion to get help and the rest was history as Iron Man, Thor , and Cap stepped up the battle lines!

Max was a messenger for a fort in the old west when he saw the local Indian tribe, The Blackfoot Clan, getting wiped out and massacred by the US Army. A Shaman blessed Max with his dying breath to give him super speed so he would stop the massacre. Max quickly disarmed the army and saved the day in his first heroic act.

His first super hero name was Ahwehota, meaning "He who runs beyond the wind." Max time jumped out his century and into the future (present time for us!) where he adopted a few other identities over the years.

His most recent name in the super hero trade is "Max Mercury".
