WWE "Smackdown" July 17, 2003 Trivia Quiz

Answer: Vince McMahon

Vince started off by running his mouth about Zach Gowen. He went on to say that Kurt Angle would be taking on Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, and the Big Show in a Handicap Match and said that Brock Lesnar would not be allowed at ringside. Lesnar came out and challenged McMahon to a match. McMahon accepted but said he would not face him that night.

He also said that if Lesnar interfered in the Handicap Match he would be stripped of the WWE Heavyweight Title.

Answer: Jamie Noble

Before the match, Noble offered Torrie Wilson $25,000 to spend the night with him. Nidia wasn't pleased and left. Late in the match, Noble was distracted by Billy Gunn and Wilson, which allowed the Ultimo Dragon to put him in a pinning combination and win the match.

Answer: Benoit

At one point Hardy gave Benoit three consecutive "Side Effects." but was unable to finish him off. He attempted a 4th "Side Effect" from the corner but Benoit countered the move into the "Crippler Crossface" for the win.

Answer: The Conquistadors

Mysterio and Kidman won. The Conquistadors wore black masks.

Answer: Guerrero

Late in the match, Jamie Noble came down to the ring with a chair. The referee saw him and grabbed the chair from him. Guerrero pushed Gunn into the referee and he dropped the chair and was knocked out. Guerrero then hit Gunn with the chair. He got down on the mat to make it look like they were both knocked out then covered him as the referee slowly counted to three.

The invitations were for the APA's Bar Room Brawl at "Vengeance."

Answer: Rhyno

Sean O'Haire battled Rhyno. It's too bad "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is not with the WWE anymore.

Answer: No

The APA interfered in the match between O'Haire and Rhyno. They came to ringside and started pounding Rhyno and O'Hare. When they were done they left them invitations to their Bar Room Brawl at "Vengeance.

Answer: In the sky box of the arena

Sable watched "Smackdown" from the arena sky box. At one point she complained to the lady serving her drink that it wasn't chilled and gave it back to her. Josh Matthews interviewed Sable and she ran her mouth about her upcoming match with Stephanie McMahon at "Vengeance." She didn't see that Stephanie was holding her wine. Stephanie said "Here's your wine (At this point she poured the wine on Sable's head) Sable!" Sable got angry and they got into a huge cat fight that would make Jerry Springer proud. Josh called Sable's name and she just slapped him.

Answer: Zach Gowen

Late in the match, Zach Gowen came down to the ring and attacked the Big Show, but Show shoved him down. At another point in the match, Zach went up to the top rope and tried to nail Show on the outside, but Show caught him and threw him into the barricade. Kurt Angle knocked Show into the crowd. Back in the ring, Charlie Haas gave Angle an "Inverted Atomic Drop." Shelton Benjamin went for the "Super Kick," but Angle grabbed his leg and spun him around which caused Benjamin to kick Haas by accident. Angle gave Haas the "Ankle Lock" and he tapped out.
