Pim digs tunnels from the house to her backyard and uses the dead of the night to use them so she can sneak out without being caught. But when Phil moves out and Curtis becomes like a brother to Pim, he plays his part and tells Lloyd and Barb about the tunnels. He thought that saying it would be a compliment to Pim.

The Giggle lets you look into the future up to 2121 and one of the season 2 episodes was called "The Giggle". In "The Giggle", Phil and Keely use The Giggle to see into the future if they pass an important test, and when they find out they do, they slack off. But they are given a fail for talking during the test, they must do their best to make sure Keely's future is not ruined.

Neil Hackett is very nosy and is getting very close to finding out the Diffys' secret. And in "Dinner Time", he finds out exactly what is going on and threatens to report the Diffy family, until a future gadget turns back time. He is a very vain man and believes he is the most beautiful person who ever lived.

Via first appeared in the episode "Tia, Via or Me...Uh" and became Keely's new friend after Phil became tired of doing girly stuff with Keely. But Phil gets jealous when Keely and Via end up becoming best friends and he can't get any time with Keely without Via being right by her side.

"Christmas Break" takes us back to when the Diffys first became stuck in our time and Phil and Pim break the Christmas Star that Keely was to put on the yearly Pickford Christmas Tree, as The Pickford Yuletide Princess.
