Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who suffered a "wardrobe malfunction" during the 2004 Superbowl halftime extravaganza?

Answer: Janet Jackson

This was one of the biggest non-events in Superbowl history - and there have been many. As part of a dance number, Justin Timberlake was supposed to rip off part of Janet's costume but instead of one layer of clothing tearing away, both layers did, revealing Janet's right asset on national TV. Children were horrified and still suffer nightmares from the trauma. Yawwnnn.
2. In 1972, a streaker ran across the stage at the annual Academy Awards presentation. Who was standing at the microphone when this unfortunate incident occured ?

Answer: David Niven

So, Niven's reading the inane babble off the cue cards when this idiot streaks across the stage wearing nothing but a smile. The unflapable Niven simply turned back to the audience and said, without missing a beat, that he thought the streaker had revealed his shortcoming.
3. On the "Seinfeld" TV show, George Costanza comes up with the perfect name if he ever gets involved in the adult film industry. What name would George use?

Answer: Buck Naked

George Costanza lived a rich and full fantasy life. He's decided on his name if he should go into the adult movie biz - Buck Naked. We can all be thankful that George pursued other career paths.
4. What stripper was famous for her "fan dance"?

Answer: Gypsy Rose Lee

Gypsy Rose Lee was perhaps the only stripper to cross over to the mainstream at a time when sexual mores were repressed, especially in America. She never revealed much, using her well-placed fans to stimulate the imaginations of club patrons.
5. During a teachers' talent show in an episode of 'The Simpsons', Bart's teacher does a striptease while popping balloons stuck to her body. What song does she sing during her act?

Answer: "Fever"

The ultimate in bad taste, Mrs. Krabappel does a strip tease during the teachers' talent show. Unfortunately, Bart and Homer are grossed out by the performance. Poor Edna.
6. This unlikely actor displayed his assets in the award-winning film, "The Piano". Who was this brave man?

Answer: Harvey Keitel

You've got to give Harvey credit. His frontal nudity scene took guts, especially when you factor in the "shrinkage" problem George Costanza experienced when caught undressed after swimming in cold water. Any guy would think long and hard about making a scene like this.
7. This rock group has appeared on stage in their tidy whities and once appeared wearing nothing but strategically placed, ummm, tube socks. Who are these clothing optional rock stars?

Answer: Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Peppers have been pushing the envelope for years now. I always wondered how they kept those socks from falling off. Hmmm.
8. Everyone knows the story of Lady Godiva and her ride through town. This tale is based on a true story. Through which town did Lady G canter?

Answer: Coventry

To protest taxes on the citizens, Lady G rode through town as naked as the day she was born. All the citizens agreed to stay in their homes with the shutters closed out of respect. Everyone stuck to the agreement except one guy named Tom, who today is better known as Peeping Tom.
9. "Playboy" magazine founder, Hugh Hefner, had an eye for feminine beauty, evidenced by his choice for a revealing pictorial in the first "Playboy" back in 1953. Who was Hef's first choice to grace the pages of his new publication?

Answer: Marilyn Monroe

Norma Jean Baker hit the big time after her appearance in the "respectable" men's magazine. It really got her career off the ground and branded her a sex goddess for the rest of her life.
10. In the film "S.O.B.", this actress decided it was time to shed her goody-goody goodness by shedding some clothes. Who showed the world her better side in this so-so flick?

Answer: Julie Andrews

Produced by her husband, Blake Edwards, Andrews thought it was time to put to rest her "Sound of Music" image. This revealing film did just that.
