Lying between Earth and Mercury, Venus is almost the same size and weight as Earth and is known as the earth's twin. Mercury is closest to the sun, Mars is fourth and Neptune is eighth.

Answer: Mary McAleese

Mary Robinson became Ireland's first woman president in 1990, she served one full seven year term and was succeeded by President Mary McAleese. Mo Mowlam was the first female Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.
