This classical Indian dance was created by saint Srimanta Sankardeva, in the 15th century in the state of Assam. The dance form in modern times has continued to be used for ritualistic and other purposes for which it was originally created. Assam is a northeastern state of India, and its capital is Dispur.

We have two of them, Dolly and Isis, and they are our pride and joy! :)

"Red Rum", a bay gelding, was the most famous steeplechaser in the UK. He was bred in Ireland, and started racing at the Aintree racecourse. His major wins were in the 1973, 1974 and 1977 UK Grand Nationals. In 1975 and 1976, he took second place. He also won the Scottish National in 1974.

Red Rum died at the age of 30 years and was buried at the winning post of the Aintree Racecourse with the epitaph: ""Respect this place / this hallowed ground / a legend here / his rest has found / his feet would fly / our spirits soar / he earned our love for evermore".
