I wanted to write a quiz, but I didn't know what about. So I picked up a magazine from my desk and made 15 questions inspired by the different ads and articles inside. There is quite a bit of "girly" stuff in this quiz, but don't let that scare you off.

Greta Garbo was one of the greatest movie legends of all time, however, never a L'Oréal face. She passed on in 1990.

Answer: Portuguese

Besides Dutch, English, Spanish and German, there is also Papiamento, which is spoken at home, and French, which can be taken as an optional subject in school.

Blondes apparently have 120 000 hairs, brunettes have 100 000 and redheads have 80 000. These are average numbers, of course.
5. I've also found an interesting little nugget about love. Physical love, that is. Who do you think make love the most out of the following?

Answer: Unmarried couples

According to writer Tracy Cox, the average unmarried couple makes love 146 times a year, whereas the average married couple makes love 118 times a year. People not in a relationship make love 69 times a year, on average.

Answer: Iranian/French

Shiva married actor Dylan McDermott in 1995. They have a little girl together called Colette.

Answer: 26

That's right, she died a very young woman. She did manage to star in 36 movies, though, and become one of Hollywood's legends. She died from uremic poisoning and kidney failure.

Answer: Germany

He was born near Düsseldorf in 1880. The Pilates method differs from other types of exercise because of its few, precise movements, as opposed to repetitions. You have to keep your mind focused to get the movements right, thus you learn to be aware of and control your muscles in a whole new way.
9. Now I'm looking at a biography of Icelandic music artist Björk. What was the name of the band Björk fronted before going solo?

Answer: Sugarcubes

Björk was born in 1965. She has two children; Sindri (born 1986) and Isadora (born 2002).

Ginger does indeed seem to be a wonder remedy. If you have a toothache, however, you should see a dentist.
