Answer: Ludwig Van Beethoven

The exact name of this work is Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13 and was written by Beethoven in 1798 and published a year later. Originally it was named "Grande sonate pathétique" by the publisher. It is one of the composer's most liked works.
Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany in 1770 and died in Vienna, Austria in 1827.
Probably owe an apology to the composer for the choice of picture - a bunch of beets!
2. What is the first name of three times Formula 1 racing champion Piquet?

Answer: Nelson

He was born Nelson Sautomaior, on August 17, 1952, in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He used his mother's surname Piquet when he started racing. He was very good at tennis and he was sent by his family in a tennis school in California.
He started racing and became champion of Brazil in Formula Vee. After that he went to Europe and raced in Formula 3 with a lot of success. He joined the Brabham racing team and in 1981 he won his first Formula 1 title. He was champion again two years later.
He switched teams and in 1987 he won his third championship driving for Williams-Honda.

Gerard was born in February 1987 and joined Barcelona as a junior at the age of ten. He went on loan to Manchester United and Real Zaragosa before returning to the club.

Quipu was used as a method for counting by the Incas from about 1400 until 1532. It was made with a long main cord from which other smaller cords were hanging. The smaller cords also had other cords hanging from them as well.
To keep accounts they used to make knots with each type of knot signifying a numeric value. To date three types of knots have been identified:
A knot which represented a single unit, the "Long knot" which represented numbers between 2 and 9 depending how each was wrapped around and a knot that represented the 10 or multiples of it.

The Pequot were living in the area now known as Connecticut. In 1636 over 1500 warriors were killed in what is called the Pequot War. The roots of this conflict lie in control of the fur trade. The Pequot had managed to monopolize the trade, something that was not liked by other tribes. With the help of English settlers they managed to destroy the tribe.
