Answer: Kauai

Kauai-nicknamed 'The Garden Isle'. Mt. Waialeale pronounced (wy-ah-lay-ah-lay) is located in the center of the island with an elevation of 5,148 feet. It averages over 400 inches of rain a year. Its record year was 665.5 inches.

Molokai 'the Friendly Isle' at a remote part of the island the town of Kalaupapa is now a National Historical Park. In the 1800s, a Belgian priest named Father Damien gave most of his adult years to caring for these unfortunate people.

Population of urban Honolulu is about 370,000 people,with approximately 880,000 living on the island of O'ahu. Year around temperatures average 68 - 85 degrees F and about 23 inches of rain a year. Although rainfall can vary greatly depending upon where you are.

Great place to visit! Kilauea Volcano (elevation 4,190 feet) which started erupting in 1983 and hasn't stopped yet. It spews about 450,000 cubic meters of lava a day for the last 18 years.
9. Mauna Kea?

Highest point in the state at 13,796 feet. Home of the world's largest optical infrared telescopes at the Keck Observatory.
10. Mauna Loa?

Answer: Hawaii

Second highest mountain in the state at 13,680 feet. Also a part of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The largest (by volume not height) volcano in the world. From its southern tip up to the summit and back down again to its Northern tip is 120 kilometers.

It last erupted in 1984 when this volcano erupts it spews massive amounts of lava. In 1950 it erupted for a mere 23 days and delivered 376 million cubic meters of lava, that's about 16 million cubic meters per day. It took all of 3 hrs. to travel the 15 miles and start emptying into the Pacific Ocean.

At some points the flow was moving over 20 mph.It dwarfs the current or any other eruption of Kilauea Volcano. Just not as often.
