Answer: Sulla

Sulla was the dictator of the Roman Republic from 82 B.C.E. to 80 B.C.E. This was well before Julius Caesar came to power. Although it seemed that they (Sulla and Caesar) would get along together, in truth Sulla tried to kill Caesar on several occasions.
2. Which Roman leader declared himself "Dictator Perpetuus" or "Dictator for life"?

Answer: Julius Caesar

In 49 B.C.E. Julius Caesar tried to dissolve the Roman Republic and create a Roman Empire. Five years later he was assassinated and the Roman Republic was plunged into civil war. However, a family member would eventually make Caesar's dream into a reality.

Answer: Caesar Augustus

Hadrian's Wall stretches a good long 77 miles. In the meantime the border between England and Scotland has moved further north, especially in the east.

The Pax Romana ended when Marcus died and his son Commodus came to power. Commodus became insane after an assassination attempt.

Answer: Istanbul

Many people said that this was the beginning of the end of the Roman Empire.
