Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these is a requirement to declare a Red, Blue, Orange, or Black Tokui-Waza in Z and GT?

Answer: All cards must be of one style (excluding freestyle)

While only Saiyans may declare a Saiyan Tokui-Waza and only Namekians may declare a Namekian Tokui-Waza, any Main Personalities with at least three levels can declare a Red, Blue, Orange, or Black Tokui-Waza.
2. Which of these rules for Dragon Ball cards are correct?

Answer: You may only have one set of Dragon Balls in your deck

You can capture Dragon Balls regardless of what type you have in play, but only one type can be in your deck. You only need to deal five life cards of damage in order to capture one, and you don't need to declare a Tokui-Waza in order to win by Dragon Ball victory.
3. Which of these martial arts styles best describes the Orange style of GT?

Answer: Support with drills, allies, and energy attacks

In GT, the Red style focuses on Dragon Ball capture in most cases, Blue style focuses on board control, usually through Set-Ups, and the Black style focuses on hand and life deck manipulation, usually through discarding. The Orange style primarily focuses on Drills, Allies, and "Cosmic" power.
4. How many power stages does "Universe Spirit Bomb" in GT cost?

Answer: 200

If your Main Personality and your allies were all at their highest power stages, it would total 13 of your GT personalities altogether in order to pay enough to use the energy attack, or 20 if using all Z personalities (that had 10 power stages).
5. In all of Dragon Ball Z and GT, how many different types of Dragon Balls have come out, (including the "Alt." versions)?

Answer: 8

The sets are Saiyan Saga for Earth, Trunks Saga for Namek, Cell Saga for Dende, Alt. Dende for Buu Saga, Alt. Earth for Cosmic Anthologies Sub-Set, Alt. Namek for Kid Buu, Black Star for Baby, and Cracked for Shadow Dragon, totalling eight.
6. Which one of these energy attacks cost 0 power stages to perform?

Answer: Blue Draining Blast

Blue Draining Blast costs 0 power stages to perform. However, if you want to do additional damage, all you have to do is pay 2 power stages for each additional life card you want to deal.
7. Which of these characters is NOT a rogue personality?

Answer: Android 17

As the card sets went on, the rules changed for certain characters for ally alignment and Hero and Villain decks. Only Android 17 never changed his alignment and instead became a major villain in the Super Android 17 Expansion Set.
8. Which of these alignments are for the Celestial Fighters that were opposite the Heroes of the World Games Set?

Answer: Hero

Pikkon, Olibu, Maraikoh, Tapkar, Froug, and Arqua were all Celestial Fighters, and were only Portrayed as Heroes. In the initial World Games set, only Majin Spopovich, and the World Games preview card of Majin Vegeta Lv. 1 were villain personalities.
9. How many sets and expansions (not including Sub-Sets or preview cards for the last set) were there altogether in Z and GT?

Answer: 15

All sagas in chronological order: Saiyan, Frieza, Trunks, Android, Cell, Cell Games, World Games, Babidi, Buu, Fusion, Kid Buu, Baby, Super 17, Shadow Dragons, and Lost Episodes, totalling 15 altogether. They were scheduled to release the Anthologies set, but due to waining popularity of some of the Shadow Dragons and Lost Episodes cards, they ended the series there.
10. Which of these Promo sets contained the Supreme Kai Sensei?

Answer: Kraft (released only in Australia)

The Kraft Promos were initially released in Australia with a 10-card set from the Buu Saga. Supreme Kai Sensei was one of the cards with the ability of shuffling up to 5 styled cards in your discard pile into your life deck once per game.
