Early on in the movie, in a scene where employees are hanging out in the main office space, the gentleman who is in charge of the company takes the time to introduce Summer to her fellow office members. We learn shortly thereafter, in a conversation she has Tom, that she hails from Michigan and has just moved to her new location just recently.

Tom doesn't hesitate in the least to confront this agitating individual. The fight occurs just beyond where Summer is sitting at the bar, and she is clearly aware of exactly what happened. Afterward, when they go home, they get into an argument, as she will not defend his actions under any circumstances.

It is not long after this that their romantic involvement takes a turn for the worst.

It is false, because we see Tom sitting in a row near the front of theatre, with no one else around him, as he tries hard to concentrate on the old black and white film playing on the screen in front of him. He doesn't seem to be able to pay attention too well, as he is consumed with the thoughts of the one that should be there with him, which is Summer.

Answer: a wedding ceremony

It is a rather large, formal outdoor ceremony, where a couple of friends of theirs tie the knot. Tom and Summer are sitting near the front row for this beautiful moment. At the conclusion of the wedding, we are shown a reception, with lots of dancing and talking going on.

Feist, also known as Leslie Feist, has released two LPs of great significance: "Let It Die" and "The Reminder". The song "Mushaboom" was the lead single from the "Let It Die" album. Her best known effort was the song "1,2,3,4", which was featured in Ipod Nano ads a few years back, and whose video featured an insanely colorful and addictive dance routine!

It is nice to see that by this point of the movie they are at least able to be friends, and they are able to speak at ease with each other. At first, it appears that Tom has moved on, both physically and emotionally, but he wavers just before she ends the conversation by trying to get her to hold his hand.

Tom says this with a tone of great sincerity; it doesn't seem forced at all. He clearly wants what is best for her; it is a very unselfish approach on his part. She then walks towards the end of the park, where she will potentially forever be gone from his life. He is just left to his own thoughts.

He is attending a job interview on one of the upper floors of a high-rise building downtown. He is all decked out in his best suit and tie, slacks, and sleek black shoes. After he exits the escalator, and proceeds down the hallway to his left, he will meet a new acquaintance before he is asked to come into the interview room.

Answer: Autumn

Moments before his interviewer calls him in, he asks her out for coffee, and she is not sure what to say. When he turns to continue toward the room where his interview will be conducted, she calls him back and agrees to his offer. After he offers his name, he asks for hers, and she simply replies, "My name is Autumn." The movie concludes at this point.
