Clint Eastwood is a disc jockey in this 1971 psychological thriller. He has a brief fling with a fan, Evelyn (Jessica Walter) who becomes obsessed with him. However, when Tobie (Donna Mills) enters his life, Evelyn gets nasty and people start to die. This film also marked Clint Eastwood's directorial debut.
2. Clyde's not a monkey

Clint Eastwood is a truck-driver and a fist fighter who enjoys three things; beer, country music and a good fight. He roams through the San Francisco Valley with his best mates, Orville and Clyde the orangutan, in the hope of finding these favorite things. Things heat up when Clint catches sight of a country singer (Sondra Locke), who bolts on him when he starts to get serious.

This 1978 film, which sees Eastwood's character, often, get upset about Clyde being called a monkey, also stars Geoffrey Lewis as Orville and Manis the Orangutan as Clyde.

The Scorpio Killer is terrorizing San Francisco and the mayor needs Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) to bring him down, which he does, violently. This 1971 thriller would prove to be a huge commercial success and pave the way for a series of similar style detective films. "Dirty Harry" would also spawn four sequels of its own; "Magnum Force" (1973), "The Enforcer" (1976), "Sudden Impact" (1983) and "The Dead Pool" (1988).

(Actual Lyric) "Send shivers down my spine/Body's aching all the time"

During World War II ex-Lieutenant Kelly (Eastwood) learns of a bank holding a shipment of $16,000,000 worth of gold bars. Only problem is, it is behind enemy lines and it is guarded by German soldiers and a couple of Tiger tanks. Kelly hatches a plan to seize the gold and, as the tagline states, near on wins a war.

The all-star cast in this 1970 comedy drama also included Telly Savalas, Don Rickles, Donald Sutherland and Carroll O'Connor.
5. There's a song in a wand'rin star/yes I can sing

Answer: Paint Your Wagon

(Actual Lyric) "I see a little silhouette of a man"

Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood form a partnership that ends up in the two of them sharing a wife (Jean Seberg), kidnapping prostitutes, drinking, singing, fighting and striking it rich. This Lerner and Loewe musical was filmed in 1969 and both Marvin and Eastwood did their own singing.

Though sung by Lee Marvin, "Wand'rin Star" is a song from this film's soundtrack. It was released as a single in 1970 and topped the UK Singles charts. The b-side feature Clint Eastwood singing "I Talk to the Trees".

Answer: Firefox

The Russians have developed a new jet fighter, which they have labelled the "Firefox", and it is revolutionary. Rumours abound that it can be partially controlled by a neural link and that it is invisible to radar. The rest of the world is concerned and Mitchell Gant (Clint Eastwood), an ex-Vietnam pilot, is sent into Russia to steal it. Released in 1982, the film was directed by Eastwood and was adapted from a novel by Craig Thomas.

Answer: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

(Actual lyric) "Thunderbolt and lightning/Very very frightening me"

Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach had a good bounty hunting scam going on but the idea had run out of steam and now they're trying to kill each other. When each discovers a separate half to a clue to a hidden fortune in gold they must again form an alliance to ensure they win the gold before a third party (Lee Van Cleef) can get his hands on it.

This 1966 Sergio Leone classic western completed the trilogy of the "Man With No Name" series.
8. I'm just a convict/In the penitentiary

Answer: Escape From Alcatraz

(Actual lyric) "I'm just a poor boy/And nobody loves me"

Alcatraz - the prison that no one escapes from. At least that was the belief until three men, including Frank Morris (Clint Eastwood), make the break. Were they successful... well, to tell would be to spoil it.

Directed by Don Siegel, the film was released in 1979 and also starred Patrick McGoohan.
9. Donkey ass/Send them off to see the nun

Answer: Two Mules For Sister Sara

(Actual lyric) "Bismillah/We will not let you go"

The nun is Sister Sara (Shirley MacLaine) and she gets into some hot water in Mexico. She is saved by Hogan (Clint Eastwood) who is on a mission to get information on a French fort's defences, in the area. He forms an alliance with Sara but during the course of their negotiations Sara is hiding a big secret from Hogan.

This 1970 film is yet another collaboration between Eastwood and director Don Siegel.
10. President/You will not shoot him down

Answer: In the Line of Fire

(Actual lyric) "Bismillah/We will not let you go"

Secret Service agent Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) was one of the officers protecting President Kennedy when he was gunned down in Dallas. Now there's a criminal mastermind (John Malkovich) out to get the sitting President and he's also toying with Horrigan's mind. Horrigan must fight his own personal doubts as well as the assassin to ensure he doesn't let this President down.

Malkovich would receive an Oscar nomination for his performance, one of three (nominations) the film would garner. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen, the film was released in 1993 and also stars Rene Russo and Dylan McDermott.
