Max Von Sydow is probably most recognised for his work as Father Merrin in the "Exorcist" series, and he stayed on the side of good when he played Jesus in "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (1965). However, he has also worked on the side of evil, playing The Devil, aka Leland Gaunt, in "Needful Things" (1993).
