1. Lord Cutler Beckett: "A certain pirate named Jack Sparrow." Will and Elizabeth:" _______!"

Answer: Captain

This is said near the beginning of the movie. Elizabeth and Will almost yell this in reply to Beckett's prodding. This is incredibly important later in the movie, as it is a reference to Jack's use of the title of Captain, whether he was one or not. This is also a running joke on Jack's part, from the first movie.

2. Lord Cutler Beckett: "Jack Sparrow is a dying breed. Jack must find a place in the New World or ______."

Answer: perish

This is spoken to Will, when Beckett is trying him to get Jack's compass. He is trying to convince Will of the need to bring Jack back to Port Royal.

3. Gibbs: "A key! " Jack Sparrow: "No. Much more better... _____!"

Answer: It's a drawing of a key!

This exchange is held near the beginning of the movie, directly after Jack climbs back aboard the Pearl, concerning the key that opens the Dead Man's Chest. Jack and Gibbs then get into a slightly confusing (yet funny) conversation about the key.

4. Jack Sparrow: [to Elizabeth] "You know, these clothes do not flatter you at all. It should be a dress or nothing. I happen to have _____."

Answer: no dress in my cabin.

This is said when Elizabeth and Jack meet for the first time in this film, directly after Elizabeth says she is looking for Will. Elizabeth is dressed as a boy so she could sneak aboard a merchant vessel.

5. Captain Jack Sparrow: "My children! This is the day you will always remember as the day you ______."

Answer: "almost caught...."

He says this while hanging off the side of the Black Pearl, yelling back to the crowd of cannibals he has just escaped from. A wave hits him in the face in the middle of his sentence. This is a reference to a running joke in the first movie.

6. Captain Jack Sparrow: [sing-song] "I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of dirt! ________?"

Answer: And guess what's inside it?

Jack is dancing across the deck waving his jar of dirt in front of Davy Jones, thinking the heart is inside it. His taunting is his way of telling Davy Jones that he has the one thing that can be used to control him.... or so he thinks.

7. Captain Jack Sparrow: "Where's the _______?"

Answer: thump-thump

Jack says this after the jar of dirt falls off a railing and shatters. This is when he finds out that he does not, indeed, have the heart in his possession.

8. Will Turner: "What about Jack? I can't leave without him!" [sees Jack getting chased by cannibals] Will Turner: "_______!"

Answer: Time to go!

In the trailers Will's line was "Never mind! Let's go!" but in the movie it was switched to "Time to go!" This is said when the pirates are getting off the island with the cannibals. The look on Will's face is brilliant and really makes this a lot funnier.

9. What does Jack say to Elizabeth when she handcuffs him to the deck?

Answer: "Pirate."

He says this with a grin, as if he's proud of her. This move seems to be a good illustration of how much Elizabeth changes in the movie.

10. What does Jack say to the Kraken at the end of the movie?

Answer: "Hello Beastie"

He says this almost directly before he charges, sword swinging. This last move is incredibly heroic, and shows that Elizabeth was right when she called Jack a good man.
