Messenger had told Angel to meet him in the churchyard at three o'clock during the Sandford village fête. Unfortunately, Angel was marshalling the raffle and Tim's name ominously came out. As soon as the clock struck three Angel rushed to the churchyard where Tim just had time to register that Angel was there before the church spire came down on his head splattering blood everywhere.

Angel won the monkey after Danny persuaded him to have a go on the fête's shooting range, where he showed unbelievable ability with an air rifle. He gave the monkey to Danny who ran away from Nicholas in a bad mood and later returned it to Angel's hotel room.

Answer: Leg

Angel went to the Somerfield supermarket that Skinner owned and blamed him for the murders. He intended to use the leg wound as hard evidence. He believed that after stabbing Leslie Tiler with her own shears, he cut the leg on broken glass whilst escaping.

It derived from his childhood days studying ballet and Angel believed it was a major revelation. It emerged that it was a well-known fact as demonstrated by the ever-funny CID team (Andy Wainwright and Andy Cartwright). Skinner then produced CCTV footage confirming that he was in his shop during Leslie's attack.

She said this before the meeting of the Neighbourhood Watch Alliance (NWA) at the castle. They were gathered in a circle, all hooded and repeating an eerie chant. They then rejoiced at Angel being dealt with by the trolley boy from the supermarket. Angel then chose that moment to reveal himself and uncover the NWA'a nefarious scheme.

Answer: Doris Thatcher

Most of the villagers belonged to this society who killed anyone who might have ruined Sandford's chances in the "Village Of The Year" competition. Doris was a member of the Sandford Police Service, most of whom were oblivious to the NWA's actions and believed that the village's many deaths were all accidents and not murder.

Simon Skinner admitted that Merchant's fate was due to his house "not being in keeping with the village's rustic aesthetic" a fact that Angel himself pointed out whilst escorting Merchant home after he had spent a night getting drunk in The Crown. When Merchant got home, he was hit over the head and left in the kitchen.

The killer left bacon and beans on the cooking appliances and left the gas on, making the death seem like an accident.

Answer: Danny Butterman

Danny stabbed Nicholas in the shoulder where, unbeknownst to the rest of the NWA Danny had placed Angel's notebook with a packet of ketchup concealed inside giving the illusion of blood. Due to this, Danny drove Angel's "corpse" away allowing him to escape but Angel later returned to deal with the NWA.

Answer: Action DVDs

Angel had left the village after being rescued by Danny and was at a service station, when he saw some of the action DVDs that he and Danny had bonded over including "Point Break" and "Bad Boys 2". This persuaded him to return to Sandford and overthrow the NWA and their evil reign of terror.

Angel armed himself with the weapons confiscated from Elroy Farm and slowly moved down Sandford High Street. There a massive gunfight ensued, pitting Angel, Danny and eventually the rest of the police service against the NWA, who all seemed to have concealed guns somewhere on their person in preparation for an attack.

After Angel left his horse, there was a long staredown between him and Mr Treacher which culminated in Angel uttering the single word, "Morning." This prompted Mr Treacher to produce a gun from underneath his coat and begin to shoot at Nicholas. This triggered an enormous gunfight.

A fork was thrown towards him as he leant against an aisle during a fight in a supermarket. This broke a tub of Bolognaise sauce and it splattered all over Andy's head. His comrade believed it was blood and shot blindly at their attackers before Andy enlightened him with the very funny line "Don't worry Andy it's just bolognaise."

Answer: Ice-Cream

Angel pursued Skinner to the model village where they engaged in a fistfight in which Skinner slipped and the spire of a building went through his chin and out of his mouth. He then asked for the ice-cream, to which Angel replied that there was plenty of ice-cream at the station.

Answer: Attacked by swan causing a car crash

Frank tried to make a break for it in Angel's car without knowing that PI Staker's swan was on the back seat. The swan bit Frank's neck and his car swerved into a tree, allowing Angel and Danny to arrest him and return to the station. Angel's London colleagues offered him the chance to return to London, which he declined and returned to the Sandford station.

The police were back at the station completing the paperwork incurred after the climactic fight when Weaver emerged holding a blunderbuss. He called Angel a busybody and fired. Danny jumped into the bullet's path and took it in the chest. Then Angel knocked Weaver over and he became trapped under the confiscated sea mine.

The mine exploded destroying the station and Angel was shown crying over Danny's prone body as he lay on top of the wreckage. In the next scene (set one year later) Angel was shown laying flowers on a grave marked Butterman. Danny then appeared and the grave was shown to belong to Danny's mother who committed suicide.
