"The Sting" (1973) teams Paul Newman (Henry Gondorff) as a master con artist and Robert Redford (Johnny Hooker) as a young conman out for revenge from a criminal banker, Doyle Lonnegan played by Robert Shaw. Newman (1925-2008) and Redford teamed together for that 1969 classic "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid".

There are many humorous situations once they join the Navy and sail to Hawaii.

"The Blues Brothers" (1980) was an American musical crime comedy starring John Belushi (1949-1982) and Dan Aykroyd. Comedy actors John and Dan founded the band as part of a musical sketch on "Saturday Night Live" in 1976. In the movie, Jake Blues (John Belushi), who has just been released from prison, is collected by his brother Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd).

They wish to raise the necessary money ($5,000) to pay the tax bill for the Catholic orphanage in which they were raised. They decide to get their old band together and do some gigs to raise the £5,000.

Their original band members have moved into other fields but finally they all become available. After many scraps and humorous situations with the police and Neo-Nazis they finally raise the money for the church to pay off the tax bill.

Mel Gibson and Danny Glover starred in four "Lethal Weapon" movies. Their first "Lethal Weapon" (1987) movie pitted the two partners against each other; Riggs (Mel Gibson) being the young suicidal cop and Murtaugh (Danny Glover) the veteran cop who is just looking for an easy ride to retirement from the force.

The first "Star Trek" movie was in 1979 and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" was made in 1991. Since that time there have been numerous "Star Trek" sequels.

The film takes place in the 23rd Century when a mysterious and destructive cloud is descending on Earth. Capt. James Kirk and his crew on the USS Enterprise are sent on the mission to destroy the cloud and determine its source.
