Answer: The hedge

When everyone reaches the hedge and sees how big it is, Hammie decides to run to find the end. He goes one way as fast as he can (and he's fast) and says the first part of the quote. He then goes the other direction to finish it off.

2. What do the animals call the hedge?

Answer: Steve

The animals decide that the "object" would not be as scary if it had a name. It is strange and unusual to them so they name it "Steve".

3. "Over the Hedge" is based on a comic strip.

Answer: True

The comic strip is by Michael Fry and T. Lewis. It was first published in 1995.

4. Why doesn't RJ want Hammy to have caffeinated drinks?

Answer: Hammy is already hyper enough.

Hammy is extremely hyper. Later into the movie, they do give him a caffeinated drink. He goes super fast to save their lives from the verminator with the weed hacker, and the bear that is trapping them in the hedge. It works. He is so fast that time seems to stop. The music in this part makes it hilarious!

5. What is Ozzie the opossom's daughter's name?

Answer: Heather

One of the saddest parts of the entire movie is when it seems that Heather dies. They are in the house and she is thrown against the wall on the stairs. Ozzie becomes very sad and holds her. She then says "I learned from the best, Dad."

6. What is Vincent the bear's favorite food?

Answer: Spuddies

RJ makes sure that he gets the Spuddies at all costs. He knows that they are Vincent's favorite and that he will not get out of trouble if he forgets them.

Verne the tortoise does not like it when others mistake him for an amphibian. It first happens when RJ shows up. It happens again when the verminator comes and smells Verne.

During Hammy's caffeine high, he finds extra time to gather enough nuts to not have to gather any more. The log is overflowing.

When RJ is first trying to tempt them over the hedge, he opens cheesy chips. Hammy loves them so much that, later, he tries to make cheese. He loves cookies too, shown in the laser chase.

Toward the beginning of the movie, Stella says that any guy she wouldn't mind being with would like kids and have no sense of smell. Tiger has these attributes. She calls him Tiger because he has a very long name.
