After being exposed to a mysterious mist Scott Carey began to shrink slowly over a period of time. Eventually he became so small he could live in a doll house. After an attack at the hands of his own pet cat, Scott slipped between the floorboards of his home. His wife found his bloodied clothes and assumed he had died.

The movie ends sadly with no hope of a cure and Scott resigned to his fate.
