"I guess you're not home." -Marie to Jason

After getting shot twice and waking up with amnesia, CIA assassin Jason Bourne travels to a bank in Zürich where, according to a laser chip embedded in his hip, has an account. Upon arrival, he finds his safety deposit box full of thousands of dollars in different European currency, a gun, and several fake passports. After a brief visit to the U.S. Embassy, he meets Marie Kreutz, and pays her to drive him to his house in Paris.

This name is visible when Jason and Marie are standing outside his apartment building in Paris, pressing the call button. But then, finding out that John Michael Kane is dead and then almost getting killed by an assassin... not really home sweet home, huh?

"Who has a bank account full of money and six passports and a gun?" -Jason to Marie

After struggling to remember who he is, Jason is relieved to find his own passport in the deposit box and learn that his name is Jason Bourne. Then he finds more passports hidden in the bottom, along with a gun, and begins to wonder again who he really is.

Gilberto de Piento is just one of Jason's many fake identities. When Jason is at the bank in Zürich, he pulls out the Gilberto de Piento passport and it clearly says "Brazil" (in the Portuguese form).

"Yes, in Paris. Do you have the number for a Jason Bourne?" -Jason on the phone

Jason learns a lot about himself during his trip to the bank, and then is able to convince Marie to drive him to Paris for $20,000. She's not so sure what she's getting herself into, but agrees to help him anyway.

The street name is briefly visible on a close-up shot of his passport as he examines it in the bank.

"Who else is out here, huh? How many do you got with you? I'm not gonna ask you again." Jason to The Professor

At one point, Jason and Marie travel to Marie's ex-boyfriend's house while evading the police, only to find that they've been found by one of the other CIA assassins whose mission is to kill Jason.

Jason first fires at the gas tank outside the house to create a diversion, then he fires into the air to scare the birds while he finds a new vantage point. Finally, he shoots The Professor twice.

Jason is first found floating in the Mediterranean Sea with two gunshot wounds to the back. A fishing boat takes him in and an Italian man named Giancarlo cares for him. Jason helps out with daily work on the boat while trying to figure out who he is. After they make port, he travels to the bank in Zurich.

Jason never mentions being able to clean a fish, but he is frustrated that he knows how to do everything except figure out who he is.

On their drive to Paris, Jason and Marie stop at a truck stop diner to take a break. Jason shows Marie everything that is in his safety deposit box, and tells her his story.

Paul Kay is another one of Jason's six passports that he shows Marie while they are in the diner.

"So, uh, we've got a bump coming up." -Jason to Marie

Marie drives a little red Mini Cooper that looks as though it has seen better days. After leaving Jason's apartment in Paris, the two of them go to find somewhere for Jason to store all of his money. While parked on the side of the street, they are discovered by the police who are also looking for Jason. He proceeds to lead them on a wild chase through the streets of Paris, in which Marie's poor car takes quite a beating.

"What do you think they're doing back there? They're on to the hotel." -Jason to Marie

After evading the police in the car chase, Jason and Marie settle down in a hotel where they can rest and change Marie's hair so she won't be recognized as easily. They spend the next day getting phone records from a hotel where Jason stayed under the name of John Michael Kane right before he was shot. After checking out some of the places that Jason had called, they return to the hotel to find that they've been discovered there by the police. Jason uses the spy-ish term "blown" and when Marie doesn't understand, he breaks into a police car parked nearby to show her a wanted poster for the two of them.

This may be a mistake in the movie, however. It clearly shows the lights and the police sign on the top of the car, but later when Marie is trying to call Eamon, Jason is shown taping plastic to the front right window of the car they are driving. This time, it's just a gray sedan. We can only assume that they found this other car and he broke the same window.

"I got a lead in Paris." -Jason to Marie

One of Jason's phone calls leads him to Alliance Security, where he learns about the yacht where he was supposed to have killed an African politician named Nykwanna Wombosi. This is where his mission turned bad and he ended up getting shot and falling into the Mediterranean. While chatting with Mr. Rawlins, he learns that Wombosi might know something about him, although he doesn't remember that he was the man he was trying to kill. As it turns out, Wombosi has already been finished off by one of the other assassins.

"Daddy, Alan has to go pee!" - Polly to Eamon

During their brief stay at Eamon's house, Jason befriends his two children, Polly and Alan. When he and Marie first arrive at the house, they find that Eamon isn't there. He pulls up outside shortly after, and Marie runs out to explain why they are there. While they are talking, Polly announces very loudly from the car that "Alan has to go pee" and they get out. The next morning when their dog goes missing, Jason suspects that there's someone outside who's after them and goes to neutralize the threat. When he returns, Eamon is packing his things and loading his kids into the car (I mean would you want to stick around after an assassin had been outside your house?). He tells Polly to get into the front seat, and shouts for Marie to come with them. Jason gives her some of his money and tells her that he's going to find out who started all of this. After they leave, he is able to arrange a meet with the CIA people who are after him, and tracks them to their safehouse back in Paris.
