Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The name of the town in which Ralph's game takes place is called Pleasantville.

Answer: False

The name of the town in which the game, called "Fix it Felix Jr.", takes place is called Niceland. The gameplay involves the titular character fixing the residents' apartments for them after they are sabotaged by a very large man named Wreck-it Ralph who lives in the local dump.
2. What is the name of the pie-baking woman?

Answer: Mary

While the other options are all residents of Niceland as well, Mary is the one who bakes the pies that if given to Felix during gameplay, allow for temporary invincibility.
3. Which of these famous video game villains doesn't appear at the Bad-Anon meeting?

Answer: Dr. Wily

While Bowser from "Super Mario Brothers", Smoke from "Mortal Kombat" and Dr. Eggman from "Sonic the Hedgehog" all appear in the Bad-Anon scene, Dr. Wily from "Megaman" is nowhere to be seen. Bad-Anon is a support group for video game villains where they go after the arcade closes to remind themselves that they shouldn't be ashamed of being bad guys. Ralph joins them at the beginning of the film to express his discomfort about being ostracized by the people of his game because his true personality isn't the one the game defined him with.

After saying he'd rather be good than bad, the villains tell him that he can't mess with the arcade games' system.
4. Who does the voice of Sergeant Calhoun?

Answer: Jane Lynch

Lynch, best known for her role as Paula in "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" lends her voice to Calhoun, the tough, no-nonsense female sergeant of the arcade's new first-person shooter game "Hero's Duty". Ralph sneaks into the game, disguised as one of its soldiers, hoping that if he wins a medal at the end, the Nicelanders will finally respect him.

After unsuccessfully trying to fight off Cy-Bugs, the game's enemies during game play, Ralph sneaks up to the tower where the medal is kept to take it. However, things go awry as Ralph accidentally steps on a Cy-Bug egg, hatching it and getting the creature and himself stuck in the cockpit of a shuttle which flies out into the power outlet station that connects the games, and into another portal.
5. Which of these is not a name of one of the "Sugar Rush" racers?

Answer: Iciclia Winterbottom

Ralph's shuttle lands in an ice cream mound in the candy-themed go kart game "Sugar Rush". Each of the game's racers have a theme and name based on a type of candy. Although "Iciclia Winterbottom" isn't the name of one of the racers, there is still a winter-themed racer by the name of Adorabeazzle Winterpop.
6. What type of animal does King Candy call Ralph?

Answer: Warthog

King Candy, the ruler of "Sugar Rush", calls Ralph a "halitosis-ridden warthog" because of his bad breath. Ralph is brought before the King after he causes destruction at the race that determines which racers will be a part of the game's roster during arcade hours.

He explains that this is because the game's glitch, Vanellope von Schweetz, has stolen his medal so she can use it as a gold coin, which every racer needs. However, King Candy, much like everyone else, won't believe Ralph can do anything good and scoffs at the idea of a "bad guy" winning a medal.
7. Where does Vanellope go in order to hide from King Candy's guards?

Answer: A cave inside Diet Cola Mountain

After Vanellope explains to Ralph that because she used it to pay her way into the race, his medal can only be recovered if the race is won, he makes a pact with her in which he agrees to help her obtain a kart for the race if she will give him his medal when she wins.

After the two break into the Kart Bakery and manage to create a kart, King Candy sends his guards to capture them. This leads to Vanellope showing Ralph where she takes refuge: an unfinished bonus level located inside Diet Cola Mountain.
8. Which of these classic arcade games has had its console unplugged at the beginning of the movie?

Answer: Q*bert

"Q*bert" was an arcade game that first appeared in 1982 that featured the titular character (an orange dot with a honker that spoke gibberish) climbing a pyramid of cubes. In the film, Q*bert and his foes are living penniless in the power strip station because that is what all characters are forced to do if their games are unplugged. Felix and the Nicelanders are in danger of having the same thing happen to them because their game has no play-ability with Ralph gone.
9. Calhoun's father was killed by Cy-Bugs.

Answer: False

Actually it was her fiance. The Cy-Bugs in "Hero's Duty" are very dangerous because they fly around eating everything in their path and get bigger with each meal. Luckily, the soldiers are able to keep them under control by zapping them with a lightning beacon at the end of an arcade patron's game play.

However, Calhoun forgot to check if the beacon was turned on during her wedding day, which resulted in a Cy-Bug crashing through the chapel window and swallowing her fiance whole.
10. What is King Candy's true identity?

Answer: Turbo the race car driver

After being told by King Candy that if Vanellope was added to the roster the players would see her glitching and think the game was broken, which would result in its shutdown, Ralph reluctantly breaks his partnership with her and goes home to a now-empty arcade game.

However, after seeing that Vanellope's picture is on the side of the "Sugar Rush" console, he realizes that she was meant to be part of the game; he quickly goes back to apologize. There, he learns that King Candy is actually the egotistical race car driver of an unplugged game who changed his identity and damaged Vanellope's game code so that she would glitch. What's worse, the Cy-Bug that came in the shuttle with Ralph has fathered a whole bunch of new ones. Luckily, Ralph is able to destroy them by creating a beacon that came as a result of him filling Diet Cola Mountain with Mentos. During the process Turbo is eaten by a Cy-Bug, allowing Vanellope to be restored to her true role as Ruler of "Sugar Rush". Ralph then returns to the Nicelanders who finally have come to understand that being a bad guy during game play doesn't mean you are actually one.
