Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who sang "I Will Follow Him"?

Answer: Little Peggy March

Later used in the Whoopi Goldberg film "Sister Act" as a song to God.
2. What British "bird" sang the original (and in my opinion, highly superior) version of "(There's)Always Somthing There To Remind Me"?

Answer: Sandi Shaw

Sandi was a real favorite of mine. She often appeared onstage barefoot, and had a boyfriend named Duncan. Naked Eyes did another version of this great Bacharach/David song.
3. Who wrote "When You Walk In the Room", (most famously done by The Searchers) and once collaborated on some tunes with Jimmy Page?

Answer: Jackie De Shannon

Marianne Faithfull did a De Shannon/Page song on her first album- "In My Time of Sorrow", as well as the De Shannon composition "Come and Stay With Me." I didn't want anyone to get this wrong by not seperating the "De" and the "Shannon."
4. What James Bond movie title song featured the vocal talents of Shirley Bassey?

Answer: Goldfinger

"Goldfinger beckons you to enter his web of sin, but don't go in!" Who could forget that voice!
5. What 1967 movie featured Judy Geeson and a young Michael Des Barres? (Song and movie, same name)

Answer: To Sir With Love

C'mon! If I'd said Sidney Poitier and/or Lulu, it would have been way too easy.

The very diminutive singer grew up very poor and lost her father at an early age- but could she belt it out!
8. What Girl Group or singer sang 1961's "I've Told Every Little Star"?

Answer: Linda Scott

"I've told every little star just how great I think you are. Why haven't I told you?" Her recordings are still available, according to what I've found here in cyberspace.
9. What group or singer had a hit with Bobby Darin's "Dream Lover"?

Answer: The Paris Sisters

That was their real last name. When I was little, I thought they came from Paris, France!
