1. What band is famous for the song "Dragonaut"?

Answer: Sleep

Sleep was formed in the 1990s in San Jose, CA. Guitarist Matt Pike eventually went on to form High on Fire.
2. Who is the ORIGINAL bass player for NOLA based supergroup Down?

Answer: Todd Strange

Todd Strange was the bass player for Crowbar as well as Down in the 1990s. Rex Brown replaced Todd when he left the band. Jimmy Bower is the drummer for Down and Hank III played bass for Superjoint Ritual, drums for Arson Anthem as well as many other projects.
3. What band was Bruce Dickinson in before he joined Iron Maiden?

Answer: Samson

British metal band Samson formed in 1977. Bruce did the vocals on the first three albums then left the band and replaced Iron Maiden front man Paul Di'Anno.
4. Who laid down the vocals on Pantera's "Power Metal" album?

Answer: Phil Anselmo

Terry Glaze (Terrence Lee) laid down vocals on Pantera's first three albums, "Metal Magic", "Projects in the Jungle", and "I am the Night". Phil Anselmo took the reigns on "Power Metal" and the rest is history!

John jammed with LA based Armored Saint before his stint with the mighty Anthrax. In the early 1980s, John was once asked to join the original Metallica, but he turned down the offer to remain with Armored Saint.

Glenn Hughes laid down vocals on Black Sabbath's "Seventh Star".
