Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When was the album "So-Called Chaos" released in the UK?

Answer: 2004

This album sees Alanis uses a bit more cultural diversity in her music, with instruments such as the sitar and the dulcimer being used. Nevertheless, it is a great album.
2. Which of these songs was the first to be released from the album "So-Called Chaos" in the UK?

Answer: Everything

"Everything" was the first release from the album, a song about a lover who sees "Everything" but still accepts Alanis. Next came "Eight Easy Steps" and after that, "Out Is Through".
3. Which song is this line from: "Why, no-one will help me, I'm too dumb, I'm too smart"?

Answer: Excuses

This song appears to be about how a person can make up excuses and pretty much avoid anything.
4. What was the name of the short improvisation film made by Alanis that was a special feature on this album?

Answer: We're With The Band

A hilarious (in my opinion) thirty minutes, definitley something to watch. "Toward Our Union Mended" is the name of the tour that Alanis was doing while the film was made.
5. Which one of the options below made the album "So-Called Chaos" special?

Answer: It had a bunch of extras on it (videos, documentaries, etc.).

Some of the special features were the short improv. film, the "Everything" music video, an inside look at the making of "So-Called Chaos", two live performances, and an acoustic version of "This Grudge".
6. Which of these songs from "So - Called Chaos" was likely one of the sequels to "You Oughta Know", where Alanis sang about a cheating lover?

Answer: This Grudge

While the other three songs could be considered sequels as well, they were not from the "So - Called Chaos" album. "Front Row" was on "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie", "Flinch" was on "Under Rug Swept", and "Sorry To Myself" was on the "Feast On Scraps" CD.
7. The album "So-Called Chaos" is the first time (excluding her earlier albums under the name "Alanis") that Alanis Morissette has had an album that featured a song with the same name on it.

Answer: True

Never before has Alanis named an album after one of her songs, rather, she named them after lines in her songs. "Jagged Little Pill" was a line on the song "You Learn", "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" was a line on "So Pure", "Alanis Unplugged" was just the name of a live performance she gave which was recorded, "Under Rug Swept" was a line on "Hands Clean" and "Feast On Scraps" was a line from "Bent For You".
8. Which of these "So-Called Chaos" songs features a sitar?

Answer: Knees Of My Bees

This shows the diversity the album has. The sitar is a string instrument from Asian backgrounds, and makes a nice "twang".
9. Which of these lyrics was in the song "So-Called Chaos"?

Answer: That you think I'd dare not be.

"Are you still mad I kicked you out of bed?" was a line from "Are You Still Mad?". "That's why I love you" is a line from "Mary Jane". "I am the perfect target screen for your blindly fuelled rage" is a line from "Not All Me".

"I want to be naked, running through the streets/I want to invite this so - called chaos, that you think I'd dare not be."
10. Which of these albums was released right before "So-Called Chaos"?

Answer: Feast On Scraps

This is the correct order: "Jagged Little Pill", "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie", "Alanis Unplugged", "Under Rug Swept", "Feast On Scraps" and then "So - Called Chaos". Thanks for playing my quiz!
