Canada won both games by the same score, 4-0. In each game they led at halftime 1-0, and then scored three in the second half. This was Canada's first ever match up against Belize.

These games took place in Richardson Stadium, part of Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. The second game was originally to take place in Belize, who requested it be switched to Canada. Belize were considered the "home" team in game 2.

Paul Peschisolido opened the scoring in the 39th minute, on a pass from Iain Hume.

Iain recieved a yellow card in the 52nd and 84th minute, and was sent off. He missed Canada's next game as these cards carry over into the next rounds. He was the only Canadian to receive two yellows.
