Answer: No other horse ran in all the three Triple Crown races in 2015.

Tale of Verve finished second in the Preakness and was scheduled to run in the Kentucky Derby but he was scratched before the race. Keen Ice and Materiality ran in the Kentucky Derby but skipped the Preakness. Interestingly, both Firing Line and Dortmund ran in the first two races but they did not race at Belmont.

In 2014 the Belmont Stakes winner Tonalist did not run in either of the first two races.

Similar to the 2015 Kentucky Derby in which Frosted finished fourth after overtaking several horses on the home stretch, Frosted overtook three horses on the home stretch at Belmont. Frosted had the second best odds in the Belmont field at 5-1.

It seemed as though American Pharoah was gliding easily throughout the first 1 1/4 miles of the race until he had to fend off Frosted on the home stretch. American Pharoah's 5 1/2 length margin of victory at Belmont was impressive but it pales in comparison to Secretariat's earth-shattering record margin of victory at 31 length in 1973. For comparison, American Pharoah's time at the 2015 Belmont Stakes was 2:26:65 whereas Secretariat's time in 1973 was 2:24.00.

When American Pharoah won the 2015 Belmont Stakes he became the first horse in 37 years to win the Triple Crown.
