Answer: Mark McGwire

Of the others, only Jackson was a member of the 500 Club. After playing for the Oakland A's for more than a decade, McGwire went to St. Louis, where he hit 70 home runs in 1998. He retired with 583 in 2001.

The others all played with more than one team. The 'Mick' hit 536 career home runs. He was the 1956 American League Triple Crown winner, and won three season MVP Awards. This great Yankee retired in 1968, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1974, and died in 1995.

After 10 seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, Robinson went to the American League Baltimore Orioles in 1966, where he promptly won the season MVP, Triple Crown, and the World Series MVP. He also played one season with the Dodgers, two with the Angels, and his final three years with the Indians, retiring in 1976 after 21 seasons.

Sosa began his career in 1989 as a Texas Ranger. Palmeiro was a Texas Ranger in 2003, when he became a member of the club. In 1999 and 2001, he smacked his career high of 47 season home runs.

'Double XX', as he was nicknamed, played mostly for the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox. His Triple Crown came in 1933 with the A's. He retired with the Phillies of the National in 1945, and was a Hall of Fame inductee in 1951. Upon retirement, he was number two behind Babe Ruth for career home runs with 534.
7. Which 500 Club member, played for the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves, and Atlanta Braves?

Answer: Eddie Mathews

Mathews was a rookie in 1952 with the Braves, one season before the franchise moved to Milwaukee. He was still with the Milwaukee Braves when the franchise moved again to Atlanta in 1966. He retired with 512 career home runs, two runner-up season MVP's, and two season home run crowns. He retired in 1968 as a Detroit Tiger.

Answer: Willie Mays

The others are not members of the 500 Club. The 'Say Hey Kid' played his entire career with the Giants, except for one and a half seasons. He began his career in 1951, where he won the Rookie of the Year in the National League. After 20 loyal seasons with the Giant franchise, he went to the New York Mets in 1972, where he hit his final 14 home runs of his career.

He retired with 660, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1979.

Answer: Babe Ruth

The Babe was a pitcher and began his illustrious Major League career in 1914 with the Red Sox, appearing in only four games in the season. In 1915, he went 18-8, then 23-12, then in 1917, he went 24-13. In 1920, after being sold to the Yankees, he pitched in only one game in the season, but played the outfield and batted 458 times.

In 1935, after going to the Boston Braves, he hit his final six of 714 career home runs. He was one of the five first inductees into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1936, and later died in 1948.
