Answer: Hungary

Italy won the final 4-2 to beat Hungary. The semi-finals were between Hungary v Sweden 5-1, and Italy v Brazil 2-1. France were the hosts in 1938.
2. Which country won the 1962 World Cup?

Answer: Brazil

Brazil won the World Cup defeating Czechoslovakia 3-1. The goal scorers for Brazil were Amarildo, Zito and Vava. Masopust was the goal scorer for Czechoslovakia. In the semi-finals it was Brazil v Chile 4-2, and Czechoslovakia v Yugoslavia 3-1. The host country was Chile.
3. In 1990, West Germany won the World Cup. Who was the German manager?

Answer: Franz Beckenbauer

Franz Beckenbauer was appointed National Coach of West Germany in 1984. He took West Germany to the final twice. In 1986 they lost to Argentina 3-2, and again they played Argentina in the final of the 1990 World Cup winning 1-0. This was the last West German team before reunification.
